This band is amazing, probably the most exciting band around atm for me personally, whether it's softer or heavier material, all their stuff is killer. Can't wait for the album.
It hits and I think it will hit anyone that can relate to both the lyrics and the pure passion he puts into it and I'm old and into almost every genre of music that's reflective or upbeat, honest and gritty and let's face it, this song deserves Grammy and an Academy Award and I rarely ever rate a song on UA-cam. I do think they could have mixed his vocals in this song better. I noticed listening to this review I heard something I never noticed in the one I've been listening to, and thought that was weird because it's the exact same video. I don't know, but maybe that's on my end in my equalizer I never change for speakers or Ear buds once I find a balance, otherwise I'd obsess over setting one up for every song, especially on UA-cam regular. UA-cam Premium music is best to listen to instead of the main platform. I'll see, but this is my first time here, and it was this song being reviewed that sent me here, so there's that. I'll sub because I like honest reviews to find real music on here and it still boggles my mind that songs like this one didn't blow up. I thought maybe because the dude did come across a little bit too into himself in a dramatic way, but I get it after a while listening to it. It's very unique if it can hold my attention for a year, and I still look for it in my list to play, so just my personal opinion and I go back like 5 decades of genres I love hearing. No, I'm not a boomer, or into labels. I use my avatar for a reason some would recognize.
Love this band ever since I saw them open for Silverstein and The Amity Affliction. They had really bad audio issues (first night of the tour) but they powered through it and won the crowd over been a fan ever since!
i like the genuineness y'all have as an attitude for making reaction vids, definitely getting a sub from me, especially by reacting to one of my favorite bands! from a musicality perspective like you all were talking about, checking out their self titled album or just the rest of their catalog on your own, is a good recommend for getting to know this band a little more, and probably understanding why they changed up the sounds for the new album. their string players are always solid, their drummer SLAMS, and the singer has a bellowing voice, and screams, if we get so lucky to hear in full, they could honestly do any type of genre if they wanted to, easily. shouts out from the US, take care y'all
This one is good, but Alterlife is still my favorite of the new album so far. Let's see if they have a better song in their new album than my favorite song by them (Like A Shadow)
for sure have to check out Afterlife, Beyond Belief, Gravity or Like A Shadow by them. all of them are amazing. they probably are in my top three bands currently
If you like this band I noticed no one really knows Devil Sold His Soul. I wanna see a reaction to the song Signal Fire from the album "Loss". For me that album is a masterpiece. Even Burdened and Witness Marks also would be good. I know yall would love it.
And Lucas has explained in the "track by track" vídeo at RockSound's UA-cam channel why this song is as it is. The form and the meaning are both "in circles" :)
It's a good song but pretty safe, sitting in the pocket. If you want some solid rock (not a Goanna pun, I swear), give "The Pretty Reckless - Only Love Can Save Me Now" a shot. Features Kim Thayil and Matt Cameron so it's basically Taylor Momsen fronting Soundgarden (sounds like it too).

Well, it was worth the waiting wasn't it?
So glad you mentioned wilt, what a great way to close their debut album. Your Love (has ruined my life) is probably my favourite though.
This guy has such a powerful vocals... Amazing song. It's definitely worth to trust Johnny on his choices :)
I just discovered in circles by Holding Absence like a week ago and I can’t stop playing it. That bass line has me wishing I was in a band

Yes boys!! What an absolute banger!! 🤟🏻🔥
This is a safer one for them, for sure. But you guys should definitely do some of their other ones - like Afterlife, Beyond Belief, or Gravity
Saint Cecilia and Penance are still the sweet spots for me with these guys ...

This is an incredible song.
Yall should check out As everything unfolds - on the inside

for sure have to check out Afterlife, Beyond Belief, Gravity or Like A Shadow by them. all of them are amazing. they probably are in my top three bands currently

What a band. As you mentioned, not their strongest but still worth checking out their other stuff
