It would be so hard for me to go there i would be a wreck. Wish i could save them all none of them deserve being there😢😢😢😢😢. Thankyou for saving what you can❤❤❤❤❤
Even if you can't rescue them all - maybe one day, you can rescue 1. For this one, you will be the hole world - his/her sun will shine again, he/she will able to get old, have a good, healthy live... Maybe, settle your mind in this and you can make a different - for this horse! (*if everyone would think like this, we all get together more horses out.😊)
This is horrendous that these magnificent creatures are reduced to this amount of suffering and abuse. It makes my stomach sick just to see their poor condition and the hopelessness in their eyes. Thank you for your hard work and tender touch working with these precious horses.
Fantastic that the Trader contacted you and gave you an opportunity to step in. . . Yeah, Hey, -- it’s Something. Amazing that you were able to be there Exactly When it is Sooooo Important. The Real, Real.
The absolute most beautiful video yet. The worst and the best ✨it is a lot and the drone footage of that place is overwhelming. It actually made me sick to my stomach. It is so much bigger than I had imagined in my mind. So nice to see your sister. I have so much respect and love for you girls.
Such a fantastic presentation. What a great way to tell the story of what's happening to horses. It's all wrong and ASIAB has begun changing the industry in such a huge way. RST looks like heaven compared to the auction grounds. The horses know when they are safe. Thanks so much for all you do.
Oh wow !! That baby with the hurt face hit home for me !!! I get paid tonight and will be donating tomorrow for sure ! Not a lot and I’m sorry for that. Thanks for the video you guys are so amazing!!!❤️😞💔

My boy turned 29 yesterday, and currently on a diet because he's too fat. Why? Because I found out how to take care of elderly horses. I bred my boy and never sold him because I didn't want this to happen to him.
As long as the law is not changed nationally, you will continue to have those transports to Mexico. And the horses that are transported and look like this are simply not possible. You can't get that done in the Netherlands. We had a revolt against this kind of transport years ago. My heart breaks to see this.
Well...If you're a person who watches 'horse videos' here at YTube, then most likely you've been thoroughly indoctrinated as to the plight of horses by HPHS. But, as I like the opening of your video and the music----I'll give you a listen too.
To anyone here who thinks for one second that horse slaughter done on US soil prior to the 2007 plant closures was "regulated and humane", you have not done your homework. In 1989, at peak, US based horse slaughter stood at 348,400 head killed in US based majority foreign owned slaughter plants. The plants had to import horses from outside of the US to satisfy demand. Animal welfare and environmental violations were rife at all US based horse slaughter plants prior to the 2007 closures. As of 2023, approximately 23,000 US horses were shipped across borders for slaughter in Canada and Mexico. This represents approximately 325,400 less US horses slaughtered in 2023, than in 1989. So where did all those horses go (year after year since 1989)? The manufactured fake, false and faux "Crisis" of unwanted horses starving everywhere never materialized. When there is shrinking demand for a commodity such as US kill horses, a natural market correction occurs, exactly as it did in 1918 when automobiles began to replace horses. The current US kill auction pipeline financially rewards irresponsible owners and breeders. The US slaughter horse industry is in a state of declining freefall. In 2015, the European Union stopped importing horse meat products from Mexico, 87% of which was derived from horses of US origin. There are no adequate and reliable traceability controls in place to guarantee that US origin horse meat products are free from banned substances that are harmful to humans. The EU Commissions' panel of 28 experts spells out documented food safety traceability and animal welfare violations (at Mexican plants) noted in US origin horses in their 2014 audit. Horses of US origin must complete a six month residency on Canadian feed lots prior to slaughter. POINT: The EU, the formerly largest importer of US horse meat says no to eating horses of US origin that have not been on a feed lot for 6 months. Mexican horse slaughter plants have not, as of 2024, adopted the EU 6 month residency rule. If US based horse slaughter plants were to reopen, the glaring, documented and proven problems remain of: 1. Lack of adequate and reliable traceability controls for slaughter horses. 2. Animal welfare violations abound at every touch point in the US horse slaughter pipeline. 3. Documented environmental violations in each town or city in which a horse slaughter plant operates. The market for US kill horses has dramatically contracted. There is no way to do a bad thing better, or operate a kinder, gentler US slaughter horse kill pipeline or slaughter plant. ASPCA research shows that 2.3 million Americans have the finances and interest to adopt a horse. 23,000 horses per year can easily be absorbed into the current US equine population of 7 to 9 million head.
Dear..f.y.i...EU IS importer horsemeat from countries South America???..Supposely in E U régulations? ???? and since August 2021..all thé horses born on E U are FOR HUMAN FOOD..on their Passeport.. 😢
The EU imports horse meat from Argentina and Uruguay. There are many animal welfare problems with both countries, as EU animal handling protocols and slaughter regulations apply to South American slaughter horses ONLY upon arrival at the slaughter plants. There are little to no protections in place for slaughter horses from Argentina and Uruguay during collection and in transport. This poses significant animal welfare problems, with horses arriving at the plants with severe bruising, lacerations, broken bones, and other injuries. Traceability controls of slaughter horses from Argentina and Uruguay are also questionable. Performance horses, polo ponies and any number of riding horses can be found in the slaughter pipelines of Argentina and Uruguay. It is impossible to ensure food safety when these types of horses are slaughtered for human consumption (as they have most certainly been given banned substances and other pharmaceuticals during their lifetimes). It has also been noted that EU mandated humane animal handling and slaughter protocols are at times, not followed, with downed animals arriving at the plants, that are dragged from transport trucks, and left to die without proper medical assistance or immediate human euthanasia. Handling at the slaughter plants of Argentina and Uruguay can be violent, with horses beaten, kicked, and shocked. Yes, horses born in the EU that are designated for slaughter and human consumption carry the best "passport" traceability systems when it comes to tracking that animals lifetime consumption of banned substances and pharmaceuticals. Still, and sadly, there are ways around these EU systems as well.
Why don't you buy out the reservation horses directly? Horse Plus Humane Society has implemented the use of Navajo horse gentlers. Please look into this on their YT channel.

RIP Howard.
It is amazing what ASAIB and their team do for these horses that are so in need. I'm sorry Howard, you were a good boy.
Thank you for taking these horses. I heard about horses that were round up on the Navajo reservation a few months ago.

@@cherylmillard2067 we have been doing both
there are so many :(
Reality is most of today’s society doesn’t respect nothing or nobody
Are the reservation horses mustangs? I noticed a brand on ones neck. Basically they're mustangs that aren't run or caught by BLM??
The Reservation foals are not Mustangs. They are rez-owned feral domestic horses.
