I have to tell on Vince I was spending the weekend in Nashville like I do on my job but I ran into Vince in tootsies he is so dam kind and humble he spent so much time whith me I will never forget him the rest of my life u couldn’t tell how famous he was or is and play isn’t the word for his craft he is amazing in person thank u Vince god Bless you
We visited the shop Saturday from Texas. There on the couch was Vince. That made our trip. Thanks, Michael for taking the time to talk to us. Thank all of you for the UA-cam content. I cannot play anything but the Radio, but you have drawn me into the instruments I love to hear played. Again, visiting your shop was so cool and was the highlight of our vacation. Brandon & Amanda.
Some guys talk about helping people and all the things that they’ve done……and then there are the guys who show up like these two, with more heart and Soul, making the time to pay it forward and putting a smile on one face after another, and another, and another. Thanks fellas. Norm, If I didn’t live in PHL I’d come out and work with ya, Vince, I want to sit down and share some ideas with you. We all have our favorite story, and maybe I’ll tell you mine one day.
I met Mr. Gill several times when he played with The Time Jumpers in Nashville. He is not only a talented musician but one of the greatest storytellers in the World. Very nice man. You have to see him live.
I've been a guitar player for almost 60 years myself. (Wew, had to stop a minute thinking about that 8( I've followed, and watched every bit of video (in the new days) of Vince I could find. Not 100% for the music, but for the stories about his life experiences. His Dad in particular, some of those stories I laughed so hard I cried!! There was another one about a band layover in NJ, I think it was. He had convinced a nice black lady at the bar he was a parts salesman. She convinced him to get up and sing Karaoke with her, and the rest of the band was hysterical. She told him he wasn't quite as nervous, and got better on the second song!! She still thought he was a parts salesman from NJ!! It was sooo funny!!! Vince is such a great human!! 8) Peace --gary
The best guitarist that doesn't have to prove how great of a musician he is. There is a lot to learn on how to really play the guitar from this man and his philosophy. Plus he is a great human being.
Some days I wonder about The Sorry shape our World seems to be in These days. Tuning in the NRG Family always rekindles my hope for humanity 🤙 Blessings to all of you 🙏
Lord, please these guys and the Mission... the world needs so much more than what's going on... If I was in a position to do so, He would make it so... perhaps, I can help someone to help in the appropriate way.... Thank you Norm.
I’m out of the country right now writing this n hope to put in for the live stream but hopefully it’s available still at the beginning of October 🙏❤️ thanks for the great things you do to the mission ❤️👍🏻👏👏👏🎸
Thanks for what you guys are doing: Fact: Record-High Homeless Counts. A record-high 653,104 people experienced homelessness on a single night in January 2023. This is more than a 12.1 percent increase over the previous year.
God damn Norman! I would have liked to have been there with you. I hope you are feeling okay you probably don't pick up all of your emails but maybe you'll pick up this one. Next time in town I will come to see you. I am not Vince Gill but I try
Vince is a national treasure. So sad that beautiful California has such a terrible situation with poverty, homeless people and unemployment. It has not always been like that and it is not a natural catastrphe. Isn´t it about time to think about the political reasons for that?
Gill is great! As Bidenomics takes its toll on the country, many of us are either already homeless or one more month of 3.5% inflation increases (after 40% already since Jan 2021) away from becoming homeless! Thank you Norm’s Rare Guitars for calling attention to this. May the country be at peace with what’s coming if Kackles gets in.
100% agree. Homelessness will always be an issue, but the economic state of the country the past 3-4 years is absolutely ridiculous. Cutting off massive Ukraine funding and drilling for oil would be a good start to stop the bleeding.
@@lucabrasi5070 Agreed 100%! Kackles can’t win or we won’t survive. Nothing is more dangerous than a dictator who also has oligarchs supporting him/her and there’s only propaganda from schools, entertainment, news, music, sports, colleges, churches out there not allowing the free flow of information no matter how damaging or opinionated it might be, and who uses law fare to shut down their political opponents.
I unsubbed when Mark left. But Vince Gill? I'll watch this one. EDIT: you basrsrds, we all wanted to see/hear him play something and YOU let us down. Im glad i unsubbed. I wont be back.
I’m sympathetic to the homeless problem but I have to agree. Majority of homeless in California are there for the good weather. They can do drugs and sleep outside with ease
Vince Gill is my all-time favorite musician. Anything he does never gets old. I wish I had 1% of his talent.
I've been playing for a very very long time, I have maybe 1% of his talent, that's what makes me sad! LOL --gary
@@gtr1952 Me too. But, hey, we can still enjoy playing, and listening to him, right?
@@Nordic_Sky I agree 100%!! I've been playing gigs @ small local bars/gin mills since 1968, I've enjoyed every minute of it!! Peace --gary
Yeah he’s my all time favorite guitar player.
There is some famous artists that don't have 1% of his talent
Such a beautiful man. Thank you for having Vince Gill on the show today Norm
vince gill-- does not get any better-- a pro's pro and a master player and singer.one of a kind
I appreciate these two good men. I'm a fan of both of them.

Incredible !!!!! 😊
Vince Gill might just be the nicest musician and the greatest musician currently living ...
Vince Gill is the man. I love listening to him play anything, but I especially love him on acoustic guitar. He always seems so genuine too.
As a long-time Nashville resident, I can tell you that Vince’s kindness and authenticity have no bounds…neither does his talents

Vince used my guitar tech once (seen & heard it all) He went on & on about him as a person & musician.
Vince is an old friend, and I'm so proud of him and all he's accomplished on every level.
two cool dudes on a couch, grateful for them both!
I had the pleasure of knowing Stan “Judge” Gill, was always ready to tell a story or something funny. Needless to say he was extremely proud of Vince.
2 of the greatest guys around.
Vince Gill is a great guitarist and singer. I don't know if he plays as much as he used to, but he used to be a fantastic golfer as well.

Vince Gill is here in the Valley?!!!!
Absolute class act and just an all around beautiful soul. Vince is a treasure we’re lucky to have.
The man sure does love his Vintage Martins doesn’t he.
I remember when Vince was a kid in OKC.
Yeah man .....😊
He just seems like such a nice normal dude. Steve Miller is the other one who just seems nice. Would love to see them do something together!!

Vince plays while Norm speaks...0 haters
Bonamassa plays while Norm speaks and boooooo haters
Wtf?!
Yeah. Joe really does get a lot of unnecessary hate. “He’s hoarding all the vintage gear” amongst other garbage.
Vince is a national treasure.
So sad that beautiful California has such a terrible situation with poverty, homeless people and unemployment.
It has not always been like that and it is not a natural catastrphe.

❤
Does anyone know what tune Vince is noodling?
Any guitars in that store normal people can afford?? Serious question
Where can I stream it? I’m not very internet savvy so your help would be appreciated
Everthing you said about Vince is spot on.
Vince Gil is Christian singer songwriter Amy Grant's hubby.
👍✌❤😎
“But she forgot about my old John Deere”
Hey Norm, watcha wanna do?
I think I could watch UA-cam for a while, maybe longer.....

OK, that was sweet, but I feel cheated. Not even one song?
i went to school with Vince
He was famous for letting off the most stinky eggy farts

Tell them to get off hard drugs. That's the ticket
