We just booked the sol Dunas and I’m glad we did because the price difference was insane from the Melia. We wanted a 2 bed room and the sol Dunas came to around £2640 if we’d have gone with the Melia it would be £3300 for the 2 beds. My partner would love the steak house so I’m glad we can pay extra to use the restaurant if we want to, we are only staying for a week
Hi, I’m coming here in a few weeks and was wondering what currency to bring as I’ve heard it’s a closed currency. Do they accept euros, pounds etc in the restaurants in the resort and what about outside of the resort? Thanks
They accept the euro and the Cape Verdian escudo in and out of the resort. Only time you will spend in the resort is if you are booked into the Sol side as you will pay at the restaurants but not if your booked into the Dunas.
Is there many facilities for young children? We are going with our three year old in 2025, it said there was a big play area and a kids water pool, and, and do both sides get to share both facilities?
I’m confused , the Tui Suneo Dunas is also in the same complex. I only learned this as I’m researching and checking on Google earth. The Tui Blue Cabo Verde is located on Melia Lana complex. I’ve no idea the difference in these hotels, which are the better. I don’t suppose you know ?
Very good explanation 😊 it definitely gave a better insight of what me and the wife have booked in a few weeks. Was slightly worried that we jumped too quick after reading very mixed reviews. I think the concept was very well explained in your video, so we travel with more confidence that we didn’t completely make a wrong decision. Thanks for your video Sue and Nic
If you've not been before not much I said will matter. Dunas & Sol are good but I've been to the Rui Palace in Boa Vista which was excellent. Enjoy your holiday and of course the lovely weather.
Thanks and definitely looking forward to the weather… especially today 😂 it’s our first time . We usually end up in the canaries, so we thought let’s do something else. Usually we never worry apart from my more practical can I get my cigarettes there 😂 either way can’t wait for sunshine and warm weather
You can use everything same as the Dunas even the restaurants except you'll pay for them. Everyone's the same Sol & Dunas except as stated with the restaurants.
Hello!! I am a Spanish girl who goes to this hotel in June and I didn't understand very well that they are going to change the hotel? That is, you say that the hotel is worse than it was years ago and that is why it is cheaper? I'm sorry to ask because my English is a bit bad haha thanks and good video!!

There is a water slide and play area for children.

Tui Blue & Melia Llana are 2 different resorts but located very close to each other.

Is the sol side the TUI side? I’ve just booked and am seeing massively mixed reviews

Not changing yet and the hotel is ok
Was this called "TUI SUNEO Dunas"
I think it was looking on line.
Out of Tortuga and Dina’s, which would you recommend?
Dunas as it has more options in eating plus the complex is alot bigger and modern.
