@@tonesmith909 agreed....a center column would be awesome. However I do understand the reasoning for not having one as most true shooting tripods (like these) don't because the center column reduces the stability. I think it would still be a great option to add on through the quick change system though. Thanks for watching!
@TheLanden11 hey there! I think I would got with one of the smaller ones for a general purpose tripod. The larger ones are overkill for a lot of applications. Thanks for watching!
Worth triple the price of a BOG tripod? This is a legitimate question, I have used a bog tripod and was impressed at the stability even with the lack of a ball head. Using the legs to level your rifle instead of the ball head is the only difference I can see. So I'm just left scratching my head wondering if the extra 200-350 dollars really worth it
Like you said, I would love to see a center column that snaps in, would buy one tomorrow.
Agreed! That quick release feature is awesome, so it would be pretty easy to make a center column option...that would be awesome! Thanks for watching!
Crucial feature missing, Id hate running a spotting scope on that with no center column.

Which one should I go with? the bigger 40-36 or the smaller 32-29 for a general purpose do it all tripod and if you can only have one?

Are the ball head sizes the same between the four models?
What is the height of just the tripod without the head
Hey there! I'd have to go measure each of them...which one are you asking about?
The 40 that would be awesome if you would. I’m 6’5” barefoot and want to buy once and cry once
@Thedogpound1997 hey! Just pulled it out and it's just under 6ft without the head. Thanks!
Ok I’m buying one!!!! Than you 👍👍👌👌
@@Thedogpound1997 you bet! Glad to help!

@C42WatChe42C hey there! I can't say that I've used a Bog Pod, so.I can't say for sure. Thanks for watching though!
@@BackwoodsPursuit of course, I love your content and have read some of your articles online. Thanks for the reply
@C42WatChe42C awesome! Thanks for following the channel and website! Much appreciated!
you really want slow motion controls for spotting scopes. ball heads are annoying.
Yeah, I definitely prefer fluid pan heads for spotting scopes if weight isn't a concern. Thanks for watching!
