Hi, I am gifted with a pot of epiphyllum. It is very long, some branches around 60cm. I have a very small balcony, advisable to trim them short? I saw some videos almost cut all leaves ..

@pollyng1497 Good question. There are NO true 🍃 for epiphyllum oxypetalum. Two types of stems, flowers only on mature flattened leaf-like stems, rod-like stems can grow really tall, and then turn out to flattened leaf-like stems on the top. Cut all leaves, which means NO flowers. No flowers directly on rod-like stems but on leaves directly from rod-like stems. If cut rod-like stems, plant is kind of weepy, and bushy. In your case, I would cut rod-like stems since it really can grow very tall to the ceiling. But be careful to cut leaves since potential flowers buds will be there. Only trim after blooming season.
