This video was recommended to me by UA-cam and I'm very happy that it was. What an incredible display of courage and openness. In the original video Deni talks about his experience with losing his hair in his early teens. He began to go bald very young and had done many treatments including getting a hair transplant at 19 years old. I wanted more people to see his story and thought you guys could also benefit from him talking so openly about his balding. I highly suggest you head over to his channel and watch his original video and show you support there. This is a story I just had to share 🤝 Well done Deni, a real inspiration.

The courage to make this move and share it with the world. Nothing but respect. 👏 Incredible
@rich t What makes you think he is pretending he has confidence? Not everyone is as insecure about it as you use be if you assume someone can't be bald and confident
@Rich T of course if you’re not ready to go bald or don’t see yourself going bald ht is something to consider but it is not the only option. And you have to think, do you really want to take finasteride the rest of your day or at least for a good amount of time. Everybody is free to do an ht or go bald or balding with style. But you also have to respect the fact that not everybody has to think the same way that you do.
@Rich T wow so much disrespect. speak for yourself dude
@Rich T I think when somebody has used their balding to create one of the biggest and fastest growing UA-cam channels addressing the issue which helps many people and probably provides decent income, there is no need for pretend confidence. Are you sure you are not just bitter that you've had to spend thousands to achieve the confidence that the guys featured on this channel get for free with one head shave?
@@hugemanatee6744 good point, very nice answer
That dude was a pro at hiding it
not worth the time, money, and worry he's spent on it
it takes me 20-30 mins to hide my balding temples but this guy? Holy hell.
@@jacobarmstrong5308 agreed man can’t imagine the stress that dude had walking about or about people seeing him in the morning, never worth it always worth shaving it and you’ll look better too.
@@jacobarmstrong5308 He could Just have slicked It back.
You mean like makeup for women? No cap.
Man this is a good example why u never judge people based on the photos they post on internet in reality it’s a whole different situation
On the contrary though this video is a perfect example of why I judge people who post highly filtered photos altered photos of themselves on the internet. Its just another type of deception that will only get worse as its becomes more prevalent in society and with improving digital alteration.
Yea, Instagram vs reality lol. In reality, he doesnt look anything like his Instagram pictures. They must be photoshopped to hell and back.
It's called faceapp lol
I have a friend that is a beast in futbol but out of nowhere he seemed off. After months he shaved his head. He said he wasn’t playing at his level because he was self conscious about his hair. The wind and moving around in a game made him very uncomfortable. Always self concious that his baldness was showing. Now that he shaved his head he is free and can play with no worries.
Wind is the biggest enemy of people facing hair fall
@@yateenkangralkar5170 for real mate can relate
The same thing happened to me about 5 years ago. I also play football quite well and it started affecting my performance. The wind, the rain (I was living in London at the time), each time I headed the ball, etc. After I shaved, I went back to my full level. I think I even started playing better because when I shaved I felt more manly and confident than even before I started balding. My favorite player at the time was also shaved, and he played in my same position, and had the same shirt number, which also motivated me even more.
Yes but less more.. Hair is a G'D given.. I'm a 32 but still lot&thick blonde hair.. Never lost a bit
Man I'm going through the same shit.. Although sometimes I forget about my balding and play like a beast hahahh, but i guess i'll just shave it off in a few years.
Something else I've noticed is when you see another bald geezer walking down the street 9/10 I'll get a little nod and I've always felt that 'nod' is like a confirmation of 'I know how you feel, I've been there too'. A delivery man recently dropped off my Amazon order, after realising we are both from the same part of London (I live up north now) he took his hat off and said 'we are both bald too' and we both started laughing. It's like a right of manhood or something LOL
HAHAHAHAH I guess that was so funny
This dude lost 1000's of subs and hadn't posted in years he probably killed himself
This is my favourite channel right now ❤️. I dont know why YT algorithm brought me here, I'm a 38 yr old female with no hair loss struggles but I'm subscribed and I'm loving this. Just the CHANGE in their confidence is literally overwhelming. You can see it in the way they carry themselves before and then after they shave their head. People pick up on anxiety, confidence and the physical expression of that (slouched shoulders, tucked head). Once the head is shaved, the posture is pulled back and confident and they literally exude joy. That's what people see ❤️
Its a pleasure to have you here. Thanks for the support and I'm glad you enjoy the videos/stories👍
You're probably attracted to confident men, and UA-cam can tell...🤣
@@fernandog.m7012 I was watching a lot of the Arnold Strong Man Classic with my kids, which led down a rabbit hole of what strong men eat in a day and now I'm on the algorithm of an 18-45 yr old single man, 🤣. I love to hear peoples 'stories' tho and honestly, this has been enlightening because much is made about women and physical/body standards and how it effects them but very rarely do you hear about men. At least in mainstream.
Well said👍👍
@@christinagoulart1611 hahaha, that's brilliant 🤣. Honestly, that's exactly why I see all these stories and uplifting experiences. Happy to find good spirits around.
Peace ✌😎
I used to spend 45+ minutes with hair spray, multiple mirrors, brushes. Then hold my breath if it was windy or rainy
Honestly that’s pretty bad, I’m surprised he held on to it. Shaved will be a good look for him.
That fear of the unknown keeps us firmly locked in the uncomfortable.
Denial is a very powerful tool.
Same here....
It's like saying goodbye to that toxic girl you love(d). You will be free if you do it.
i mean every instragram post has like half a day of photoshop on so we can assume he is pretty narcissistic. I'm not surprised that he sustained that life for so long.
I feel him...started losing hair at the age of 17...
This is a real positive message you’re pushing fantastic for men’s health
It really is, men shouldn't have to be so stressed and terrified to lose hair it's a natural thing that happens to almost all men to some degree, I'm honestly so sick of those hair transplant and hair loss drug companies pushing hair loss to be the worst thing imaginable that you have to do everything possible to prevent like spending all your money on experimental drugs which don't work and surgeries which also don't work and only scar up your head.
Going bald created such a crazy surge of urgency for me to get my life together. I was so used to living like a child in my parents home watching porn and eating junk food with no job. The day I realised I was going bald, I had the urge to improve myself and get my life together and grow up. I've now got a successful business making good money. It's both a blessing and a curse I guess
Yeah I feel you on that one. It is a kick up the ass but in a good way to be honest.
@@Baldcafe love your channel bro keep up the great work
It was an attempt to compensate your loss bro, it was the moment when you became an ATM to attract a puss
That is awsome but you did not need to loose your hair to do all of that.
@@Samuel115s That's a stupid logic, you can rationalize like that basically on anything. Thinking like this you can see a former drug addict who put his life back together after hitting rock bottom and say to him - "You did not have to be a drug addict to live like this"... It's stupid. People find inspiration and a sense of urgency in different things at different times, whatever it is, he fact that he put his life together after being so low is respectable. And actually in his case yes, he did have to loose his hair to do all that, because that's what gave him a sense of urgency, maybe he realized he is getting older and needs to change.
I started to lose my hair in my late twenties. I had no worries about it. I knew it could happen as my grandad was bald. I took it off and instantly felt like a warrior. Felt good.
There's so much other stuff to do in life other than hair. Turn a negative into a positive. A bald head will enhance stubble or beard styles and eyes. Also a clean look with no maintenance.
Losing your hair at 35 is way different than losing your hair at 20
I rather take my self out than do that
@@kevinsamson1693 I'll buy the bullet for you.
Yes I am a barber and I'm here to tell you I love what you're doing for these guys!
Great, isnt it? There hasn't really been a male baldness positivity/acceptance movement. It's still kind of stigmatized and taboo. We need lots more people like baldcafe to help men come to terms with their hair loss.
I'm a 67 year old female who likes makeup and spa Asmr channels. and zero hair issues and got sent to this channel for some unknown reason. This is crazy! I had NO idea that men were so upset about the hair thing! I've had 3 bald boyfriends, all with great libido!! This is a reveal for me. Great channel. oh yeah I do watch Turko Barber now!
Its a huge thing for a lot of men. Kind of the whole Samson thing combined with baldness symbolising being older etc
Having hair is a blessing. Being bald is a blessing. Any day above ground is a blessing!
I'm a woman and I don't have hair loss but these videos make me happy. I like seeing people embracing themselves like that.
Man you may not have millions of subscribers but you have changed the life of thousands.....All of them who used to be afraid of balding are confident now....
"Never forget what you are. The rest of the world will not. Wear it like armor, and it can never be used to hurt you.” Tyrion Lannister.
I respect what he did. Being young and having follower's who may follow you primarily for your appearance but putting that vid out there anyway. I'm 23 and have only rocked the shaved head for a year and it's refreshing to see other young guys embracing it. Keep sharing man, looking forward to the next vid.
I’m not man and I cannot speak for all women but I much rather a man who is balding to just shave it. From what I have experienced watching your channel most if not all the men look so much better afterwards 😊
Absolutely 👏
@Rich T yep, most bald guys end up incels unless they are very good looking to begin with.
I agree one hundred percent.
@Rich T i can totally not agree on that. i did shave my head pretty early, not because i was balding, just cause i thought it looks badass on Dwayne Johnson. Wearing that "haircut" for 20 years now pretty much i never had any problems with it, not with women or otherwise. I am pretty sure in the end the only thing that matters is how you wear it and if you are comfy with it and show self esteem. If you do not like yourself, people wont like you. With or without hair.
as I girl I second that
To see so much positivity on this channel is great. And kudos to the young and old on here who have the balls to shave it all off. Well done!
Seriously man, Ive been following you for about two years as I was also one of them guys who struggled on the inside but kept my confidence "up" as well as a make-do kind of hairstyle for years to cover up my balding.
Just this September 2020 I finally just did it, I shaved it all off and havent looked back since, grew my beard out longer and Im happy every day I dont have to worry anymore:) -So I wanted to let you know exactly how MUCH what you´re doing really means to some dudes out there.
Much love from Sweden!
Viktor! Congratulations man. This made my day. Very, very happy for you. Onwards and upwards 🤝
Viktor! Congratulations man. This made my day. Very, very happy for you. Onwards and upwards 🤝
Could empathise with so much of your commentary on this video. Thanks v much for putting this together.
Another great video. Really helps people like me who are coming to terms with losing their hair
You contributed this kind of the encouraging videos to my decision of shaving off all my hair. I hope it will end up with looking good.
Realised yesterday how much I actually cared and tried to hide my hair loss, but was telling myself I didn't (despite using finasteride and minoxodil for years - I'm 23). Discovered your channel. Binged a lot of vids. Met up with a friend a year older who shaved his. Just did it, and man, what a relief to take control of something I was trying to deny. Probably wouldn't have done it without this channel. So thank you. Now the fun part, to see how people react!
genuine question as someone that has just started on finsateride. Do you believe it made much of a difference?
@@justD3r3k I was going to ask the same question.
@@justD3r3k It definitely slowed it down. But recently I got ED, and while I'm not 100% sure it was the fin that caused it, I realised even it was a 2% chance, I'd be better off quitting and just embracing the hair loss, just for the psychological benefit of tackling a problem head on and solving, rather than delaying it. So far, while everyone's been shocked, they've loved the look of the shaved head :)
@@kylezs Glad they liked the look and appreciate the response. I think i might just take the plunge and shave it off. Seems like everyone ends up much happier
How is your experience so far
I've been watching your videos for the past couple of days. Everyone of the guys look mean and beautiful after the head shaves. I really love your channel.
It really is amazing how liberating it is stepping through the threshold of shaving your head. The moment the clippers started, I knew that was it.
Another great video Harry. I think it would be interesting interviewing older guys who have rocked the bald head for years and hear what bald life has been like for them in the long term. Keep up the good work 👍
Looks much better. I shaved mine when i heard no barbers till march / april. Growing it back but really tempted byzz it again. Like your vids
Incredible transformation... you so right, he was totally hiding his true self. He looks happier. Best of luck to him 👊🏼
Mate this channel makes me proud to be a bald man. It took me a long time to rock my look with confidence but seeing guys out there struggling and you helping has really helped me. I rock a hat cos I want to, not because I’m hiding it. Followed your channel for a while now just for inspirational guys like this fella. Thank you.
same here man i also wear a hat because i like the way i look in it but i know people think im trying to hide my baldness haha
Thank you for the inspiration!
Not a fan of influencers but never wish anyone ill will. And man I felt sorry for the guy for the transplant at 19. Takes a lot of balls to be where he is at and show people how well he hid it and to take the plunge on shaving the head. Much respect to ya.
I'm at that awkward transition stage where i still have quite a bit of hair, i think i'll go shorter and shorter over time. Your videos have helped me come to terms with the idea of shaving it off entirely eventually, thanks alot man.
Shorter over time is a great way to ease into it man. Wish you all the best 👍
Please think long and hard about not getting a hair transplant if it's something that's even on your radar. What these photos are not showing you is the scars that are on the back of their head where the hair transplant hair was taken from. If you're going to go bald just go bald and don't scar up your head in the process!
@@Baldcafe Imagine waking up the day after doing this knowing that you are now free:) I'm female and can sympathise. Women don't have that option most of the time unfortunatly, I would be tempted though if it happened to me.
i also did that: shorter than last time over time, now i have really short buzzed haircut and holy fuck i never thought this fits me this well, i look waaaay more masculine!
At a similar stage myself. Though I'm very much at the beginning of my journey of accepting that one day it'll all be shaved off. But I've steadily been going shorter over the years so perhaps that's been a good preparation.
Thanks to you i shaved my head last week 1 month before my 27th and i CANNOT stop smiling!!! So much weight and worry gone! Thank you mate!
LOVE IT!!! Keep up the great work brother.
both of you are legends!
AMAZING how he covered that up gotta respect that haha! The shave looks super good.
Quite the job right.
I have watched your youtube VDO from time to time whenever UA-cam suggested, but everytime I watched I saw a magic, after shaving every guys looked amazing immediately.
Thank you 🙏
Amazing video! Everything you said on there really hits home... often people would say to me that my hair looked fine, I didn't need to shave it, but it does have such a massive mental strain! Just worrying when you'll get that next gust of wind, when someone might comment on it etc. I always remember being quite paranoid about that fact that I was losing hair, even if nobody could see it themselves, makes you feel so bad.
Really enjoyed this video :) and shows its not just about visual effects, it's all about how you feel inside.
This dude looks great with or without hair!
A lot of energy goes in to trying to maintain a certain look right! I think thats why its such a relief when its all over.
@@Baldcafe 100%!
I watched a bunch of your videos last night and got inspired to buzz it all off! It's feels good to embrace the bald. I'm 35 and have been losing my hair for half of my life. How much time have I wasted worrying about it? Trying to save it? Cover it? Spend money on products to hide it? I don't want to live like that anymore. Thank you!
I’m happy for this guy. I hope he feels much relief after shaving his head. Keeping up a façade all of that time was probably very stressful for him.
I’ve briefly mentioned it elsewhere, but back in the 80’s up to about 15 years ago I used to have really long hair. Around about 20 years ago my sister actually noticed I was developing a bald spot at the top/back of my head. Didn’t think much of it, honestly, I’ve always said I’d go full Captain Picard if I went bald.
15 years ago, I got tired of fighting with the flyaway hairs coming out of the ponytail and chopped the hair, and since then my hair has been getting shorter and shorter, and balder and balder until I’ve just stopped using a guard at all on the clippers.
I feel fortunate that it’s never bothered me to go bald, though I must admit every time I’ve noticed it getting distinctly thinner it’s always surprised me, and every time I go at it with the clippers I always feel uplifted.
Look 200% better man, the aura of confidence and nothing to hide anymore.. awesome. 👌
My favourite you tube channel 😁
When ever I see your video's
I don't fell alone ❤️🙂
So much respect for that Instagram guy and for this channel!
Nice to see life pop back into his eyes. He is buzzing. Well done.
After 45 years of trying to hide it, After watching your videos, made the choice.. Cut it all off yesterday and my wife actually loves it. Me just shocked still.
Thank you so much for touching on the point that just because someone's hair might look good / thick / have a good hair line etc., doesn't mean 1) they actually have good hair. And/or 2) It only matters what the person with the balding/ thinning hair feels like. I had the same issue with my hair (as you know). No more having to "keep up appearances" :)
Its a big thing that often goes overlooked 👍
This last year has been hell on my hair. I had been thinning for years as it was, but that accelerated with the stress of the C*vid, complete change in my work environment, kids' daycare closing, etc. I had tried growing my hair longer to hide the thin areas for a couple of years, but during quarantine, I cut it short myself. The more I looked at it the more I liked it, so I took the plunge a few weeks ago and went down to a 1 guard, then a 1.5 mm, and finally a 0. I love the way I look now. My Leaf razor is on its way (thanks for the discount code) and I'm very likely going to try shaving completely. Though I haven't seen many people while working from home, I still felt self-conscious about my hair, but now that feeling is gone!
Beautiful eyes, smile, face, eyebrows, he looks amazing - should have done it years ago - total freedom - thx for posting - Cheers from Canada 🍁
That's insane how well that was hidden. Good for him though both showing and getting rid.
I shaved it fully and looking great !!!! Baldcafe is great !!!!
Good work as always harry🙏🔥
Bro till my 26 about I was always worrying about my baldness and thinning hair. After getting sick of going to the barber i received new clipper as a bday gift. Getting tipsy and dropping the idea of getting it shaved off + the boys pushing, leaded on having shots and the job done. Seriously, best decision ever. Embrace it and move on .
I have a friend that has stubble ( little dots) tatooed in the spots where no hair grows to even out the color of his scalp. Its amazing how much this helps visually to not bring attention to scalp unevenness.
Im gonna do it soon. And i hope im this happy with the new look.
Thank you for this channel, it made me love being bald and make me searching to a kemei for 0 hair
Looks much better! You've got the head for the bald look!
Beautiful man!
great job, looks 100% better 👍
He would be perfect for the channel, not just about hairloss but to really get an insight of how social media has an impact on people’s lives and how it led him to where he’s at today
Damn that really was an interesting story, seems like a fantastic dude. Looks great with the shaved head though, happy for him!
love his video, and love yours too
moral of d story:- "dont judge the book by looking the cover'' but a great respect to this dude...🔥❤️👍
Every single one of y'all look better bald!! I'm not just being nice. It's crazy! Handsome guys
Great video, You need to reach out to this fella and interview him, ask him if he had his time again would he have reached for the clippers rather than transplant.
I could literally feel the relief
Awesome video & the young man looked handsome without hair, kudos to him 👍😁
He instantly looks so much happier..
Love your short beard. Good video as always. 🇿🇦💛
I held onto my hair for ages! I have the dreaded hereditary ‘M’ shaped hair line, but joined the military and shaved it off at the age of 24 and it was fine, passed out of basic training and grew it out. But the thinning was so clear, I didn’t want to get rid of it atall, hair was confidence and youth to me. After watching many many of Baldcafe’s videos, I took my hair to a number 4, and it looked better, but the top was really thinning. At the age of 30, my hair was thinning ontop and at the back, I had that bowl shape going on. After being scared of what people would think of me and my hair, I watched more of these videos picked up the courage and went down to a number 1. Best decision ever! Anyone who wants to do it, just do it! Your not alone!!
You are 100% correct, it's how it slowly eats away your energy and self-confidence. How it looks to outsiders doesn't matter.
The company who will find a solution to copletely bald heads will be worth trillions😄
but they never will
Look at his smile once most of the hair comes off and he can see his bald head shape and how its starting to look. He looks absolutely amazing
Well done you look amazing you look so much younger 💫💯
When I was younger I used to have a lot of hair and liked to have it pretty long (down to my chest) at 21 I realized my hairline started to go back, every year it goes back a little bit, coming from a bald family the idea scared me.
Last year I shaved my head just to know how it feels and see how I will look in a couple of years and it was really a pleasant experience.
I still have plenty of hair tho, but at least I know that shaving your head is not that big of a deal, specially when you can grow a beard.
damm this was very inspirational, I myself am loosing hair. But I started medical treatment, I just want to check if it works out or not. Some ointment and pills, will stop if it feels like a burden or have any side effects. If it does not work out, i'm coming back here for the courage to shave it off
Very nice!!
Where are we all going bald but you look good glad you’ve got it suit you take care
I love this channel, it helped me build my confidence when I shaved my hair at 26. However, there is a certain amount of irony that their are hair transplant adverts on these videos 😅
He looks great and a real boost to his happiness.
Dude lost 1000's of subs and hadn't posted in years
I'm 20 years hair free but the effort at hiding thing brings back memories for sure
Balcafe you rock the new look with trimmed goatee brother.👍 And for all fellow bald men and women its not the end of the world you can either conceal or reveal or shave it.
Star Trek TNG , an interviewer asked Gene Roddenberry about casting a bald Patrick Stewart in the role of Captain Jean Luc Picard with the question “look, it doesn’t make any sense, you’ve got a bald actor playing this part, surely by the 21st century they will have a cure for male pattern baldness.” Roddenberry responded “no, by the 21st century, no one will care.”
I'm balding and have been for years , don't care about that but here's a tip for balding welders , wear a baseball cap while working to save the scone from knocks and when welding turn the cap around punk style and put the welding helmet on that , you can then work in most positions without the helmet slipping . Also , with the peak facing back you might save a few hot sparks down the back of your shirt if welding overhead .
Excellent clap back, Roddenberry! And I love the bonus tips for welders ---way to share wisdom, Gordon L...
your skins perfect harry, have you ever had acne? a video on it would be useful
I attribute it to mainly only ever using water and the very occasional face wash
Poor guy. No need to continue suffering.
Freedom now.
Currently rocking a 2-4... Soon it'll be 1-2... And not so long before I go to 0.
Have done a 0 before, but I'm still looking better with the short buzz.
I didn't know cutting off all your hair would be such a big deal. Good job
I'm 37, pretty full head of hair, and I love my hair but it can also be a pain sometimes. Totally get the appeal of shaving it. If I ever do lose it I'm not even going to attempt a combover. Will keep combing it back like I do now, then shave it if needed.
Good move, you look incredible.
been shaving my head since 15. only time I grew some hair was when i served in the USMC, to get a "high and tight". see zero need to grow my hair. shave it in the shower every thursday night, with my wahl professional 5-star series cordless senior
Dude looks great
I feel so comfortable that I found this yt channel. finally stories with my same problems and insecurities (17 yrs)
18 and my front hair is getting thin in quarantine, I was thinking I got cancer in the beginning with the hair loss but na and today youtube recommended me videos that informed me of people having the same problems that I have and solutions, we are not alone in this.
Great video! An actually influential influencer! Seeing his face after... Night and day. He needs new specs though lol.
This is hitting home.
Harry, you’re a good dude
I got a head of thick full hair, but have horrid psoriasis and cant grow any hair or my head breaks out in big wounds. I have to shave my head every day and put a oil for psoriasis on it to keep it from breaking out. I haven't had hair since I was in my early teens.
I think a lot of people might not realise you can't just get a hair transplant and then forget you were ever going bald. You still need treatment to keep your new hair. A hair transplant doesn't reverse balding and it does nothing at all to actually combat the cause of baldness.
Indeed, even on finasteride post transplant, I continued to lose hair behind the transplanted hair. Looks like the efficacy had worn off using both Finasteride and minoxidil. I buzzed it off during this latest lockdown, and it looked good....
Your wrong
