Brad, thanx for the warning about taking Geoff's talent for granted. He is absolutely astounding!
And Voiceplays new one drops this Friday, just so ya know!

I think by now we're all aware of how exceptional Geoff sounds. Still, he always surprises us with unexpected sounds. I'll never take his talent for granted; he amazes me each and every time! 🤯💯.
    Thanks, Brad! 🥰

There are no words!! This is absolutely amazing!! This is a "sequel" to Misty Mountains. Misty Mountains was from the 1st movie, this is from the second movie. I am such awe of Geoff and how amazing his arrangements are. Great reaction!!

...And I'm already awaiting for the one that (I hope) will come from the THIRD movie... 😇😇😇
This one breaks my heart. I can't help crying EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Moves something so so deep within my soul. Makes me want to read the whole book again... 🙂

The dwarves (and the "clone" names) are, from left to right: Kili (Geoff), Bofur (Jeff), Fili (Goff), and Thorin Oakenshield (Daryl). Geoff says clone Jeoph took the video off. Rick Underwood did a fantastic job of recreating the looks from Misty Mountains Cold, reusing the actual hair pieces from that video. Kathy pulled the costumes and props together, reusing pieces from MMC, as well as from other videos, such as The Rains of Castamere. Fun fact: The snare drum sound was created using a shovel in dirt and in sand.

Brad this is the gold standard for I See Fire. The absolute best. Geoff went above and beyond with this cover and I am in complete awe.
I'll say one thing more. Being a massive Tolkien geek.......Geoff is the biggest dragon under the mountain. This is magical.

Despite the fact that Geoff is already known as the Bass-master General, I love how his upper register is also showcased in this number.

And his boyband-ness. I swear I heard Backstreet Boys for a split second.

I know this is from The Hobbit but when I hear it I picture Hotshots and Smoke Jumpers (forest fire firefighters) standing on a mountainside with chainsaws, shovels, and other tools ready to save homes and forests from fires. I also see Firefighters racing to burning buildings knowing if they don't stop it more buildings will burn and people will be left injured, homeless, jobless and possibly dead. Let's not forget the real life warriors who battle the flames on our behalf

Brad, if you want to be blown away by Geoff even more than you must please please do a reaction video of Voice Plays cover of
" Peaches " ( Bowser, Mario, Luigi & Toad ). Geoff really unleashes his inner Rock God in this one. Look out Eli, Geoff is coming for you lol. At the end one of Layne's daughters makes a cameo appearance as Peaches. I swear these guys have too much fun.

this was filmed at Pattycake and Eli did the lighting but it was mostly just Geoff,Kathy and Rick who did the makeup ❤🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I am glad Kathy has not let the other three out publically. Geoff could easily be a complete boy band... or a full quartet... all by himself.
But this is why I do watch reactions, and love finding new people. Because I almost exclusively listen to him and Voiceplay... and sometimes I do forget that a G1 is not suppose to be "mid-range" because I just always hear him so much further down.

Same 4 guys from Far Over The Misty Mountains Cold. These are all the same costumes from that video Kathyj saved them and only needed to add some new props. Rick Underwood kept the hair braids, beards, and mustaches.

Was that last excerpt one of your songs, Brad? It's very beautiful (where can we hear the whole song??).

Ridiculous doesn't begin to describe Geoff. This song is sickingly awesome. Geoff never ceases to amaze me. Just like his "Sound of Silence" and "The Rains of Castamere' I would call this a masterpiece; a work of art. A great choice again, Brad. Well done. P.S. - I like your music video at the end.

Obviously his low notes are imoressive but the smoothness of his voice at every range impresses me even more. It's just beautiful. By the way, Ed's name is pronounced as SHEERan. Stress on the Sheer. I guess he isn't as well known over there in the US.

Thank you Brad for another great reaction to Geoff. A lot of people don't like Geoff's version of this song. I love it Geoff sang the song deep & slow as it should be sung. The song is a sad song to begin with & Geoff's voice fit the words perfectly. Geoff has a way of reaching deep down into your soul. No other artist does that.

Now that you've reacted to this one, I think it would be great if you'd react to Dan Vasc's version, as well. It's quite different (based on Ed Sheeran's version), but just as diverse, in that Dan goes through a bunch of changes, as well. He, too is an entire choir in the video. I think you'll like it. He doesn't show off Geoff's low ranges (though he can get pretty close to it), but he DOES show off some of his own higher range...so impressive!

Ed Sheeran is a great singer and Geoff Castellucci is a great singer, but my preference is the Peter Hollens version. But I especially love Peter's version of "Into The West".
