The nelson Riggs tail bags are absolutely worth the money if you aren't looking to add saddlebags. I've fit oil and filters for two bikes, and you can even fit three to four days worth of clothes in the biggest one(tourer) and as they said you can definitely fit a full size helmet in it.

Another good budget gift for a biker is a hjc i10 helmet. It looks great, has all the vents and speaker pockets of more expensive full face helmets, but they’re only about $150. They’re the cheapest snell approved helmet out there right now which is the reason I bough mine. If your budget is tight the hjc i10 is very good

What's the noise level like???
@@shahfacekillah I can only compare it to my old hjc cl-17 helmet. It deadens noise considerably compared to the cl-17, but I’ve heard the i10 is still good compared to other new helmets because of the tight fit.
Fantastic helmet, comfortable for long trips, but snug enough to trust for safety, vents are perfect

Heya Yam :) Australia here bud. Been watching a ton of videos. I've gotten the motorbike bug and decided to get a bike! So never riden one EVER! And I'm 40 next March.. I've got that Nolan N-87 helmet ordered from an AU store can't wait for it to arrive as I'm looking at it as it'll feel more real by getting the helmet sorted out!! Also money is shit for me so this is a big plan for me but no way I can afford a bike til later next year...

How does it do on wind noise
I miss my Schuberth c4 pro (didn't fit my head shape) it was quite and the sun shade was dark (plus you could utilize the drop down), but man oh man, the chin clasp was super convenient if you forgot to strap, definitely can do it with gloves on. Now my arai quantum, standard d ring clasp, it's interesting trying to do it with gloves, usually quicker if I take the gloves off
Good bits on the gear. That said, one of the most insidious problems we have is fatigue caused by noise. After a long day in the saddle, not only are we tired and our skills degrade, but our hearing can be shot. Ringing in your ears? Hearing damage! DAMHIK,IJK.... And yes, I wear ear plugs whenever I ride. I rarely see (hear?) reviews mention noise, although it IS becoming more common. Your thoughts?

Bought my first street bike a week ago! Come from years of riding off road so getting a feel for and understanding a bike isn’t new to me but the streets are very different. Got a 2015 CB1000R so it can last me a while (assuming it doesn’t get thrashed, but it wasn’t too expensive). Luckily X-Mas is right around the corner so I can get gloves, pants, and boots freeee! I finally got the chain breaker tool from you guys. The second I saw it was available thanks to this video I hopped on to the website and bought it! One less useful tool I need in my tool box!!!
The brake bleeding kit, specifically a vacuum bleeder, is extremely useful. If you ever change your own brake pads, really do anything involving your brakes, a vacuum bleeder is a godsend.
Edit: and theyre cheap. 15-20 bucks at an autozone or o'reillys.
