    Trees seem intelligent if sped up. My mind has been blown. I never thought of that.

      It's well worth spending more time around trees and reading about their behaviour and especially how they communicate. They know what's what.

      @@jumbo4billion JRE #1035 with Paul Stamets.. watch it bro.
      He talks in depth about moss, how it communicates with the trees etc around it,and works with them to sustain life essentially. Really interesting, you may love it. :)

    No. I remember a quote from Sparta 300 where Leonitus sais to the hunchback traitor "May you live for a thousand yrs." Maybe its due to my near death experiences , but I pray to die before I wake. Death is a reward.
    - Another quote from Leonitus when Xirxes is trying to convince him to take a knee for riches, and Leonitus replies "Even if I wanted to accept your offer taking a knee ain't happening Xirxes, you see I killed so many of your men in the battle this morning my legs cramped up and won't bend."

    There is a really good blog article on Wait But Why about trying to comprehend Graham's number, and upon grappling with the insanity of how big Graham's number really is, the author concludes choosing to live a Graham's number years, let alone forever, would be "the gravest of grave errors".

    SO I litteraly just send the fucking questioneer in an suddenly I realize some feedback I didn't give. Often at the start of your podcasts, I get bored out as fuckkkkk. Because I don't know the person, I don't know maybe the material and than suddenly BAM we are talking about G-something (I mean at the start of the full podcast of this version) so I stop watching thinking "this ain't a podcast for me", but than I see this clip and I regret stopping to watch, so maybe try to start the podcast with some more low key questions, because I don't care if half an hour in to the podcast you talk about G-stuff and I don't get it, because I will try to put effort, since I'm already hooked.
    Edit: further in it's still hard to follow for me, but it's still interesting, but as a dumb ass I need some more explanation or a lower place to get into the podcast.

    Lex’s atheism and belief that life was created accidentally rather than by design blinds him from deeper discoveries. Say what you want about religion, but to deny that our world was created by conscious design, and by a conscious designer, is willful ignorance. You may say things are natural and unpredictable, but never by accident or by randomness. If this universe wasn’t perfectly tuned to the way it is; i.e. gravity, temperature, all laws of physics, the placement and orbit of the planets in relation to the sun, etc. then we wouldn’t be here. Not believing in a conscious creator by default means you believe in luck as the creation of all things. Many think it’s foolish to believe in god, however I posit this: isn’t someone more foolish to believe in a one in a trillion+ chance of the universe randomly outputting a perfect design than to simply realize that this is a design, and every design has a designer?
    Go stare at a flower for 30 minutes and you will realize that it was designed

      You come across to me as aggressive so please don't do that. And yes, we apparently have 10^500 universe configurations, but how about there're a lot more universes and we just happen to find ourselves in a universe where the configuration is right? That's not luck at all.

    • @VinnyTheory
      @VinnyTheory 4 роки тому

      157 239n Well I mean if we “happen” to find ourselves in a perfect universe out of all of them, then yes that is the definition of luck

    • @quangho8120
      @quangho8120 4 роки тому

      @@VinnyTheory No it is not. If there are 10^1000 universes, then finding ourselves in any particular configuration is 100%, just like if you pulled out a card from a deck of cards, the probability of "pulling any card" is 100%

    • @VinnyTheory
      @VinnyTheory 4 роки тому

      157 239n not if no life exists in 99% of all the cards, if not 100% of the cards

    • @VinnyTheory
      @VinnyTheory 4 роки тому

      157 239n either way, theres no logical reason as to why we exist, there’s a far more probable chance of nothing ever coming into existence in the universe than the micro chance of a Big Bang occurring. The probability of us existing is so close to 0 that the only reasonable explanation is that someone created us intentionally - making the probability of our existence 100%
