Even staking cant realistically be considered when you take into account with gambling theres fixed odds you the gambler cannot change, in staking you could change combat styles for an invisible +3 boost in your chosen attack style so theres a skill element to it, in gambling theres not a skill element to it, you bet and then wait until you win or lose with staking you would actually toggle between attack styles to outplay your opponent and over the long run that small boost makes a big difference vs a staker who wouldnt change combat styles
