While it was nice to get the perfect element card and be able to use the innate, I wonder if something like Red’s major power based opening would be generally better for sunshine. He made it for dealing with England as travel river, but it might be more consistent as you are in big trouble of you go for minors and don’t get a cheap sun water card. Also once you unlock the extra energy it kind of goes to waste if you don’t go for majors. For reference he details the opening here: ua-cam.com/video/5lRtixYnB_4/v-deo.htmlsi=TcE1JdUZwYZLqS9Q
I have not played much Sunshine aspect before. I am sure Majors would work well on this spirit if we are able to consistently get 3 sun and 1 water elements. Outside of England, River can comfortably beat all level 6 adversaries by just playing minor cards.
Making Sunshine work is a lot of effort, good game! One question I got from the video is if you can downgrade the same thing twice with threshold Winds. If so, I think you got the win by 26:10 using it twice on A8.
Thank you! Yes, Sunshine requires more planning and luck than base River. Also you are right, I could have repeated thresholded Winds in land A8 and that would have won the game in the fast phase. Good catch!
Yes, base River is certainly stronger than the Sunshine aspect. Boon of Vigor is one of the best support cards in the game and losing it in a multiplayer game really hurts.

Since you never really used the Right Innate, you show that this Aspect is pretty weak. The Base River is better IMHO.

sunshine is disappointing
I love the aspect art for it though! Makes me want to play the spirit more
@@strategymeeples well river is just a baddie in any form so it makes sense
Absolutely! Looking forward to Travel and Haven releases in the future.
