good thing that at 26:46 the 800ms trade window didnt strike. That could have gone easily wrong. i had a lot of encounters like this, ended up dying 2 seconds after the guy fall to the ground. nice video mike, as always!
fun as always. random side note... but did they like..actualy change trap placement..? other than being able to place them like across windows i have not noticed it being any easier to place them like on the ground nomrally. maaaybe on like stair slopes? but it still seems to struggle a bunch
17:03 haha, the guy died on the traps. That is exactly what my first assumption was when we saw the traps were triggered. If he didn't necro, that was the only other option. Otherwise he would have ressed they guy while he was there. He probably died while you were tossing the sticky bombs on butcher, that would explain why we didn't hear the death sound.
I think we hear the death sound while Mike is opening gate on 12:27 it's like barely hearable and goes really well with the gate. I thought no reaction from Mike meant that i'm starting to loose my mind from playing too much hunt and hearing sounds that arent there but it makes perfect sense
Maybe he had shadow step to teleport to a mob? To get back quickly hard to imagine he ran over there super fast? But I could be wrong. Funny he died to the bear traps.
The one change I wanted for throwing knives was to just have them be perfectly accurate so you don't get fucked with unavoidable misses on dog cages and grunt heads. The changes they made certainly helped the knives a shit ton, but not in the way that matters most to me.
Why fire ammo though? Whouldnt poison be better since they stay on low hp for longer? I am new in the game so just asking. Or is it cause you can light them up in close with one shot ?
Poison is good but an antidote shot negates it entirely. Incendiary can't really be stopped unless they have salveskin where it'll still do char damage to the bar. And being on fire in close quarters blocks a lot more of your vision than poison and actively burns your chunks away so it forces them to either commit to killing you or hide to stop the burn.
If enemy doesn't have Antidote shot, yes he will stay low for longer- many players in that situation start to run to cover, or if they don't have a choice shoot at you. When you hit enemy with fire ammo sparks it starts to burn you (up to 40m if i remember correctly which is bonkers), and for first situation you set one on fire: then either they have to start "bandaging" which slows them down, or risk loosing a bar and try to shoot you (increases stress levels and ppl will more often miss their shots while on fire), and two if they dont start burning after getting shot (too far or maybe has Salvaeskin): Sparks deals 149 damage to the chest and adds charchoaled health which regenerates veeeery slowly so for the next min or two you will be oneshoted to the chest by the sparks.
