Absolutely love how you have the longer version.. as we get all the sweet details, and extra bonus details.... and then there are these short clips from them as an easy reference. You are hands down the #1 BJJ channel on my eyes. Thanks for all you do, you have been improving my game bit by bit..
Today at my first ever bjj class tried this one but couldn't do it.. then I watched the full video and I realized that I didn't push at the hip at the start so the guy smashed on top and stayed very tight. Tommorow is a new day though 😅
@@spacemonkey6552 nope I am one of the weird ones that watch grappling for 3-4 years, have a playlist on yt of 400+ videos with techniques... and then finally decide to try it myself 😂 Yes we do exist...
@@johnsapla7906 nothing wrong with that man. I was just gonna say this could be a little tough for a beginner for sure. I would put a lot of focus on drilling the fundamentals and basic escapes and rolls/sweeps with your training partners to get the efficiency of movement needed for these types of techniques. Like the bridge and reach in the beginning and hip out (or shrimp) that follows. Im sure you've seen these movements many many times because they are required in many techniques, but drilling them slowly will help make you perform the movements smoother for better success. Remember, slow is smooth, and smooth is fast.
being a fan of this channel I can just tell from the back ground red mat it's teachmegrapling and just tap on it. this time I had to double, triple check the channel name, spelling, logo etc due to it's a 1 minute video!
Hope you guys enjoy our second Clips video! Link to the full video is down below!

This has been my go to side control escape since I saw your series a year ago. I’ve taught a few people at the gym about it too. Thanks
Used it 7 times successfully in my first week out of 10. I owe this guy a donation
Was having trouble with getting this to work on Tuesday. I was neglecting the head position detail!, thanks coach
Flawless technique, straight to the point, no bs talking for five minutes before, 1 minute tutorial!!

Thank you so much! Glad you're getting all the good stuff out of these videos!
This transition from Side to Darce is soooo powerfull!! I gonna try it after recovering from injury.
Thanks Coach.
Greetings from Poland 🇵🇱
Nice move! I've used it a bunch since you first showed this technique. Also love the darce escapes. Thanks!
Awesome! Thank you!
Wow this is so great. What a powerful technique. Thanks coach.
Great video coach!!
This is super slick
Thank you for that
Buen trabajo!!!!!
I’m a little nervous about trying this escape because of the arm being exposed for an arm bar or even an arm triangle. I’ll give it a go.
Pulled this off 4 times yesterday

It depends who you're rolling with, I guess.
@@SwordTune of course it depends 😅
Did you used to wrestle or do any other grappling sports?
