I really wish that they kept the Etherial as was. The only thing they needed to do to fix the card was to give Fruits the Demon tag. And if that was still too much, then they could have made it 3 instead of 4 points.
P.S. I think it's may have been too early to do a meme cards vid on this one, since I can imagine a fair few people may still be quite bitter about it and it's not old enough to be forgotten.
I would love to see you to revisit RNG take the wheel or try something like a deck disruption Shupe (Supe mage option to transform a card in your and opponents hand)
shut the fuck up. a card that plays itself every round and is stupid in concept to begin with should have just been deleted from the game.
I think it could have seen a provision nerf to 10 and add "if you have not passed" to the end of turn ability, then it would have been just fine.

Giving the Fruit the Demon tag just creates unnecessary cost. They need to commission a new art for the Fruit because, if you haven't realized, the Fruit isn't a Demon.
They can make Ethereal refresh its order every turn

I don't think so, northern realms or syndicate could run that for 8 provisions and would destroy if you can put weak cards + tokens wherever you need on a turn. While greedy, nr has shields and syndicate has the best defender in the game, so...
EDIT: this makes no sense, as you could do this same thing with OG ethereal and it wasn't even optimal

@@TheFilipFonky It seems like I'm stoopid, op is right, I'd give it charges instead of cooldown though so you can cap its potential value or give restrictions on how to obtain charges. It's more fun for opponents to play around, and it'd be too specific to fit in EVERY monsters deck

Mate this card is weak now, hoping that it will not be removed or locked is naive and silly :) But I respect your try... Shame they nerfed it, cause it was unique and cool to play, can't really say it was an automatic win for Monsters, but it sure added some flavor. Cool video :)
The new ethereal clearly needs caparace if anything... you can drop it on r3 and use charges on the copies so it's protected against locks, poisons, rupture or whatever. Gives at least 13 points while requiring a removal or threatening more points. This meme deck is not serious

The answer is card advantage. When you go first you will always go down a card to stay in the round. And when the opponent passes, you will have card disadvantage in round 2 if you went first. Also if you go first there is always a chance that you lose on even cards in round 1 which puts you at a major disadvantage for round 2

When you win the round with the same number of cards in your hand as your opponent.
Etherial war unfair and needed nerf - 3 points invulnerable engine which does not require any set-up or protection. Now the card is fair and playable, it's just too expensive for its power - they should have lowered it's cost to 6 and that would have been a fair nerf, I think. Other fair nerfs were also possible - break fruits of Yesgith abuse, lower base power etc. But people would have been bitter even if the nerf had been fair. It's because they're already used to its current power and any drop would have made them sad.

They change it because it was cheap to make and very effective with fruits of ysgith can get you in a high rank. The game is pay to win so why have that card🤷🏽♂️
