I started Let's Go Pikachu, Shield, and Shining Pearl yesterday choosing Pikachu, Grookey, and Piplup respectively for my Starter. I've decided to play all three games as Nintendo and Gamefreak intended as I've done since the Red version for the original Gameboy. I also turned off the autosave feature on Shining Pearl in preparation for when I eventually take on the Snowpoint Gym. Also, Gligar/ Gliscor are Ground/ Flying types with the Ground typing rendering them immune to Electric moves and the Flying typing making them immune to Ground moves. Their only weaknesses are 2X damage to Water moves and 4X damage to Ice moves.
