with an upgrade in the grove, there is an upgrade that increases the metallic's pet based off of the shiny skins of the same pet. here is the formula: metallic damage ( 1+ shiny skins x 0.001) so if you have 1000 shiny skins and a metallic skin of that pet the shinies will double the damage, now shiny giant mythical pets do 200x damage of your best metallic pet so it goes up fast since a titanium pet (with no shiny skins and damage upgrades) does like 2000 damage
