I have a few other points that are often missed: Do not stop on the back side of a hill. Be aware of where the directional areas are. Never drive outside the boundaries.
Great video. Your written info is also really helpful. Would love to see a video of a slow lap and show the complete proper route to take... And your welcome for the excuse to hit the dunes with the excuse of a much needed UA-cam video 🤣👍
If you're there to cruise around as much as you want with little to nobody getting in your way, going during the week is the best time. If you're going there to spectate or check out other people's rides, then go during the weekend.
The ORV and Trail stickers can be purchased beforehand at any powersports shops or stores that have DNR kiosks where you would go to get a fishing license. I don't believe you can get the Silver Lake Sand Dunes pass prior. If anyone sees this and knows otherwise, please add to the conversation.
I noticed you have a piece of a 4x4 on your trailer. I used to do this until I hit a bump and it went flying down the highway. Just a suggestion but I wouldn't do this. I put it in my trailer box now.
Good eye! I borrowed this trailer from a local, and left it there because I was only towing under 40 mph to and from our campground. I brought the side by side into town with our toy hauler camper, and later found out there is no ORV ordinance in the township where the dunes are located. So, a Facebook post later I was offered a trailer rental in exchange for a pack of beer. Seemed like a deal to me, so I left his trailer exactly as he gave it to me, loose board and all.
Great I’m glad I drove all the way here not thinking about this stuff(5 hours) glad I can purchase all stickers at welcome center.
I hope it all worked out for you, and I hope you had an awesome time on the dunes.

Excellent points to add. Thank you.
Definitely a great excuse for some dune time and a follow up video lol

Thank you. I like your idea, and your reasoning behind it! I will make it happen.
Looking Forward to Going again sometime this Summer. Might be during the Week.

Are they checking db levels? My dasa exhaust is a little loud
Sometimes they do, usually they don't.
They were checking levels Sunday afternoon. They weren't checking at all Monday or Tuesday.
I want to go there, down in Muskegon now, is one way trails and hills, so you don’t crest a hill and crash? Awesome information thanks!
Yes, the one way traffic is to help eliminate accidents. I hope you can make it out there soon. It's an experience you won't soon forget!
Is it possible to buy the stickers prior to the trip or do I have to buy them at that time? Thank you for this video
