It lasted for a few months before it got knocked off the wall and destroyed. This was before I knew about foam crafting. Maybe now I can make the set and make them better and lighter and definitely more durable. Thank you for sharing with us!

@@johnmorton5889 heat sealing closes the pores and for contact cement is a better surface. For superglue I don’t heat seal the foam I leave it raw so it can soak in some
5:10 the 90 degree angle is someone confusing to me. Wouldn’t that just be a straight edge? The other way would be completely sideways. Also you do amazing work, thank you for putting out such amazing templates.

@@Puddingami well that’s up to you. The hd-foam is better to build with especially for a large structure and I do all this for free so buying my foam does help keep this going
Angles are great, but what are the dimensions on the build that you did? 36" from the bottom to top I get it, but why not put dimensions in the template? Thank you for the tutorial!
Is it better to hand brush with acrylic or airbrush? I'm a bit conflicted on what to do some say acrylic some say airbrush I just can't find a straight answer I was all prepared for acrylic than my dad thought I should use airbrush which I have one but never used one before and I'm making clone trooper armour with a custom paint scheme and airbrushing something like that might take awhile even though it be smoother but I don't know if cracks as easily as rattle
if you look at my videos I hand paint 99% of the time. I’m just not as big a fan of airbrushing unless I need that specific look. Hand paint at least for me is quicker and I can get more of a variety in my styles and textures

Hi SKS I’m a fool, and I didn’t realize that I had to cut at an angle with a dremel is it still possible to achieve this angle. I hope I didn’t screw this up hard
@@gnavarro957 yeah it’s going to take a little time but you can sand it down. Luckily your seam doesn’t need to be perfect because it gets covered my a 4mm strip
@ sorry to be bother again this is my first Eva foam project ever! So if the front facing pyramid are both overcuts the next two pieces would be undercuts for a flush connection! Or would the whole thing be a overcut? Thank you for your help! I’m excited to build and paint this!

Well done. I'd have to modify the template a little to put an eva foam halo inside for the ability to turn your head with the helmet. Excellent build.

You can do whatever you want to your build. At the end I show a phone or get an endoscopic camera

Yes its just a straight cut. I just point it out because the ends of the previous pieces were cut at 20 degree

How did you get the final pyramid for the top? I get 3 layers of template J and I’m confused on how it transitions to the pyramid you adhere

@ I think you mean they would all be undercuts so that it has the correct angles to go around the helmet
