- Jenkinson's Boardwalk Funhouse is located on the boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ. It was built in 1998 as a tribute to the American and European carnival fun houses of yesteryear. This complete walk-through was recorded by Bill Cherkasky on October 8, 2022.
The final room of this attraction has changed since my childhood... that's a shame. Instead of the pirate room, it was a spooky haunted house area with a slide and some crannies children could hide in.
I think they also removed a wobbly bridge segment a bit before that (the warning signage was still there, but it seems to be just carpeted flooring now)

Yesssss I strictly remember the slide at the end and I believe they used to have someone dressed as a clown that would pop out and push you down the slide! I went again the other day for the first time in like 20 years and could have sworn there used to be a slide thank god someone else remembers it!
You can't beat that duck in the tub! It is hysterical!
Thanks for filming and uploading this. I go to Pt. Pleasant often but finally did this walk through last year. Nice old school feel to it and I do enjoy the elevated view of the boardwalk from the balcony. I do love the signage outside as well as the decor.
There aren't that many permanent funhouses left, I went through most of the ones in Wildwood like Crazy House on Fun Pier, Showboat on Mariner's Landing, Pirate Ship Skua on Hunt's Pier, the two fun houses on Morey's and Mariner's in the mid-late 90's, and the Chamber of Checkers on Wild Wheels/Adventure Pier (old Fun Pier).

$7 bucks 😮 I think I'd have to pass on this one. Wasn't ever really in love with the mirror maze to begin with and the last time I was in one of these they made me wear little blue plastic gloves not to leave finger prints on the glass.😅
Well, they need to make their money during three months of the year....so they need to charge enough to survive. This place didn't make me wear the gloves...so that was a plus.
