I lived in Mt pleasant SC for 4 years and loved seeing the Peanut Dude.The peanuts are awesome and so is the Peanut Dude!

I live in Michigan and had my first taste of boiled peanuts, spicy style, a month ago. I have been making them at home ever since. THEY ARE AWESOME!! And super easy to make.
I grew up in Florida , where you could buy cajun style boiled peanuts from a road vendor every few miles, I hear its getting harder and harder to find ..I moved to michigan and miss being able to just go for a peanut run.

Peanut Dude Boiled Peanuts Are you the same guy in the video? Reason I'm asking is because your boiled peanuts look like the kind I loved eating when I lived in FL. I see so many others, but they are not red when opened. Yours are and that's the kind I loved and they taste much better.

I'm from England and I think boiled peanuts are delicious. You get the flavour of the shell mixing with the peanut flour with the texture and flavour of a well cooked bean
The Peanut Dude seems as though he should be selling his boiled-peanuts in Huntington Beach or Santa Cruz, he seems very "California" ... never would have guessed Carolina.
The Peanut Dude is Awesome. This “journalist” not so much. I’ve seen more in-depth story telling on College Gameday. And to top it all off, this pretentious press member didn’t even realize the classy Southern lady at the end delivered a gotcha line, with a smile, that went right over her head.

oh yes mam, i lived in nw florida my whole life & my daddy was a peanut man, he would setup a stand every weekend. when i first noved to Texas & i would make even a mention of boiled peanuts all my friends would look at me with disgust but i have since converted everybody, even my wife! Hah. I raised me kids to eat boiled peanuts, got to!

I feel sorry for anyone who have never tried them lol my parents use to give me boiled peanuts when I was a baby and ive eaten them my entire life. It blows my mind meeting people that have never tried them especially those who stick their nose up to them without ever trying them haha

I sell boiled peanuts but always get the raw peanuts because they are always available unlike the green and gotta have consistency. You think that's okay?
Southern caviar indeed. Hand someone from up...above the line...a peanut and they'll give you a look like Nipper the RCA Victor dog staring at a gramophone playing "His Master's Voice." A sideways head tilt and eyebrow WTF? look. About half the time I find they can't stand it and spit it out while others find it tolerable if not downright enjoyable. The southern diet is like no other.

No Deep South here, I'm from Colorado, but I LOVE boiled peanuts!! Around my old neighborhood we called em pickled peanuts, cause we'd always use malt or red wine vinegar in the recipe. And whoever says growin peanuts is only for the south is full of hooey- They grow almost anywhere you plant them (Sorry Alaska, probably not yall...)

We bought them on a trip to Missouri at a little roadside stand, I had heard about them for years, I really wanted to like them as did my husband, there was no salt in them, we both put them in our mouth, winced at the wet mushiness and threw the rest out saying I guess you had to grow up with them....ha ha. Now I'm wondering if we had a bad batch or something....
I wouldn’t buy boiled peanuts outside the south. Missouri isn’t the south. Those peanuts weren’t properly seasoned, so there you go.
