If I could rework it, I would make it so the user shoots a parriable nail, if it hits, Tusk comes out of the nail and uppercuts the opponent and backhands the opponent throwing them into the floor. Tusk then appears out of a wormhole under the opponent and barrages the opponent, once it finishes it kicks the opponent with golden rectangle energy coursing through them. In total it does 60-100 damage depending on the current meta, balance, and reworks to Tusk (if they ever occur)
Why 60-100 dmg, most bd's are around like 125dmg, the nail being a projectile is a good consept but it has to be parryable too cause it would cause unbalanced stands and could also lead to bugs, glitches,etc. My way of rework tusk, is take the first part of the comic with jonhny starting the bd, use this animation, then end it with a few shot of the nails and then hard punch. Pros and Cons of new bd: Pros: bd can be launched/started at long range distance, most enemys can cancel as bd is started at long range and enemys wont notice the difference of the bd start up and the golden rectangle nail ability. Cons: you are stuck in the place where you started the bd(e.g Time stops start up and p.s you can move the position of the mouse to aim where the nail will go), it takes longer to come out like the charging nail, you have to predict where the enemy will go and you are likely to be aimed as you are out in the open. If it goes in to efect like spin and hamon which both has a power boost (p.s spin gives a less power boost btw) then this is how the damage will range: Hamon with reworked bd: 125-145dmg depending the duration of the bar goes Spin with reworked bd: 125-135dmg depending the duration of the bar goes when it also comes to damage rediction Boxing, Hamon and Spin can reduce damage from any attack: Hamon reduction: 93.5dmg if Hamon defence is in use Spin reduction: 105.7dmg if Golden skin is in use Boxing reduction: 112.1dmg if Tough skin is in use and that how i would rework tusk without having the overbalance of the posible new bd.
also ligit made a document to sent to Uzu for some changes/minor fixes and a new tusk bd rework. Its not done yet so keep an eye out for new bd in next update or later if this manages to convince Uzu to rework his game to be abit more better
