Red Bull Straight Rhythm is an innovative evolution of supercross where a track is "unwound" -- there are no turns, just a half-mile-long straight rhythm section. By isolating the whoops, triples, doubles, table tops and step on/offs, riders must focus exclusively on reading the terrain directly in front of them, correctly judging their speed for precise distance and control.
Watch as some of the world's top riders -- including James Stewart, Ryan Dungey, Marvin Musquin, Malcolm Stewart, Cole Seely, Jessy Nelson and Justin Bogle -- go head-to-head in a friendly competition on this watershed track, proving there's potential for a new competitive moto format.

OMFG that footage of them jumping looked like something out of an animated movie, red bull is the coolest company ever!! Finally a company that isn't faceless, and all about making revenue.. Red bull has truly taken extreme sports to a new level.. Love it!

you will have riders coming out of retirment for this. ie carmichael,mcgrath,pastrana. could be sweet.

it's called thinking outside the box. something new and different. doing the same thing get's boring. the riders seem to love it.. broaden your horizon dude... or go watch regular MX video's
RED BULL:: You'll Always get more punch for your buck investing in moto/SX racing than in Any other form of racing. What $2million does for a race bike is a days research in F1. Literally. Imagine investing in SX suspension research and getting an advantage while others have to struggle in darkness. All the good race action is in motorcycle racing be it MotoGP or MX/SX.

Haha this is awesome!! They should do a Special Stage of the AMA Supercross or something. I went to watch a special stage of the WRC in the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff they could do something like that where they just have a tournament for the day .

This won't ever takeover the sport... it is very cool and alot of the big guys will probably have one of there own to work timing and stuff, and x-games might do something similar but the AMA won't make this a form of racing...
