When applying murray's dip your finger in the jar rub the grease in the palm of your hands, the more you rub your hands the more heat you make ,which will make the grease easier to work with rub the grease in front, back & sides .if need be dip back in the jar and get another dabb apply that front ,sides & back then take a washrag let it sit in hot water or run hot water over the rag .don't have the water so hot that you can't pick up the rag ,ring the water out the rag .you want the steam or hot rag to soften the grease. rinse rag out get it warm again and wipe excess grease out of head .then brush hair , if little white grease balls form as you brush your hair .go back and do your hot rag method .then comb out excess grease apply hot rag then brush & lay it down with du-rag . I don't know how often you wash you hair .murray's is to train the hair to lay down . I don't know how often you brush .so I will say if you wash you hair every 2 weeks you should be dipping in that jar twice a month .Before every brush session apply something like blue magic ,hot rag method brush & lay it down
Word of advice to all that want to use the Murrays and feel it is too thick... Put about a quarter size amount in your palm then add a few drops of your favorite or regular use hair oil to it... Rub it together to combine the two... Then apply it to your hair... It will completely soften the murrays up... It actually tells you to do that on the container...
I see you scramble the Murray's all in your head the one time I tried it I just put it on and rushed it and I didn't like it but your method looks dope
Great video bro. I strictly use Murray’s for my crown and/or help straight out forks and it’s the mini can of Murray’s lol. Haven’t actually used it on my entire waves since 7th or 8th grade cause like you said, there’s better alternatives out but it definitely works
How is the hold compared to regular Murray's?? I love the hold when I'm first starting my waves. Almost everyday for 3 months. Cause my hair is so coarse and natural products just leave my hair so dry except ones for low porosity. When I'm using all natural products I still use murrays light or the army color dax can. And always oils
I've only ever used Murray's. I like to use it when I have an afro mostly and brush in a "360" motivation n just to get my afro wavy. Royal crown is a good product too. Or is crown Royal? Anyway all the old heads used it for them groovy waves.
Can you Make a video about natural products you can use for waves I have been waving since about last a little after winter but I mostly just wash my hair with shampoo and conditioner ever so often and brush I don’t really put stuff in my hair when I normally have a brush session sometimes I use all natural leave in conditioner so my hair is moisturized
Cicatrix Media Murray’s isn’t a wave making pomade. It just holds your hair down. 90% of waves is brush work. Try makin a brushing routine everyday and never lack in the beginning cause you’ll regret it
This is for each time you pick up the brush, whilst using that mirror. Gotta build that arm endurance, count in increments of 25 so it don't seem like much. Make sure you using that hot towel, and a durag when you sleep so it don't come off. It take patience, but if you stay consistent they'll come.
I tried the method but then only the back of my hair responded good the front was trash I fill like I messed up my hair but I am trusting you for now I am going to school tomorrow and hopefully people don’t think I used a kit and start laughing at me pray for me with a like
I would leave a like but you already have 360 waves... I mean LIKES. I don’t want to mess you up. ☺️ Seriously, good to see you’re posting good informal wave video. 👍👍👍 LIKES all the ways!!!
Ive been using Murrays for 15 yrs, with no problems at all!! I don't use it everyday tho....i use it every 2-3 days....my girl uses it too and her hair is down her Back...
I've been using Murrays for a while now and I have coarse hair but I still don't got waves waves like I'm not spinning my question is can you get waves with coarse hair
Used to heat that bad boy up on the stove back in my middle school days lol . I just don’t like how pomade feels on my head and how it makes it look but good video
It’s not bad, but you don’t want to keep it on all the time because you want to give your hair time to breath as well as allowing your curls to decompress
I First Started with sportin waves years ago when i first started waving back in 97-98 my waves was spinning crazy everybody would get sea sick 💯Facts!! My waves still spinning in 2018-2019 💯Facts!!!
I'm 49. I grew up using Murray's and still do! My waves been spinnin' since the 70's.
Hey wavers, how do I know how much Murray's to use?
"A single can of Murray's should be handed down through 4 generations."

Murray’s was my first product when I started getting waves. I still end up using it when I find myself slacking but that isn’t often
maybe this is how kitguy gets his waves to look like that lmao
hahah maybe lol
Yea probably so. I wonder what else he does though
Haha I swear I know who you talking bout
Marcel Johnson and he keeps putting so much of that shit in his hair that he barley washes it
@@BlackQuest89 he washes it with that 100% authentic water

Yo dawg nice to see u back 💯

Man i may have to come back home to Murray's lol. Great video
Use it from time to time, You can't go wrong....
Yea its not bad from time to time
I use murrays after a fresh cut. Shower method then brush a lil Murray's thru from the crown & rag up.
My Grandpa has been using Murray's to Slick back his hair since Vietnam.
Def had to sub after I seen those results 😭💪🏾
You gotta melt grease with hot towel and then brush session
Bro thank 🙏💕 u he do not kno what he doin
Silent Soldier please explain how you do it in depth??

you dont need a bunch of products, that will just overcul and mess up your hair, rely on that brush
Murray’s to start off for the first month or soo then switch to natural products or even 2 months

Kobesantanna welcome to da wave game my guyy

He much did u apply to your head ?
Great Video...One Can last a lifetime!!.. trust me.
Great vid!
Thanks!!!
How many times do you brush each side cause with me I struggle with the back an the right side of my head
300 to 500 for the right 100-300 for everything else. You have to over compensate.
This is for each time you pick up the brush, whilst using that mirror. Gotta build that arm endurance, count in increments of 25 so it don't seem like much. Yea bro try it out. I don't use it like that anymore but it still works if thats all you have
Lol..Murray's in 2018..Shawn Wave keeping it wavy old school
Hahaha You know me fam lol
How long did you brush for
I never knew I was supposed to use so much pomade before. No wonder I can't wolf past a month. Good video man.
Well wolfing really has to do with the amount of brushing you are doing. You have to brush a alot to train you hair to lay at higher lengths.
It's the father of all pomades but very expensive and scarce hear in Nigeria
How long did u brush for?

Hahaha thanks bro! I honestly just appreciate you watching!! It means a lot
Is Murray's really that bad? Even if you only use it like once a week after a wash?
Its bad over time. Murrays clogs you hair cuticle and thats not good for you hair health.
Ive been using Murrays for 15 yrs, with no problems at all!! I don't use it everyday tho....i use it every 2-3 days....my girl uses it too and her hair is down her Back...
Only use it once. After it looks like Shawn waves, hit it with some oil or grease(blue magic) 👌
I've been using Murrays for a while now and I have coarse hair but I still don't got waves waves like I'm not spinning my question is can you get waves with coarse hair
Yeah, just gotta work a little harder.
Look up 360 waves process, he's a coarse hair waver.
Good video bro
Good looks bro!!
Used to heat that bad boy up on the stove back in my middle school days lol . I just don’t like how pomade feels on my head and how it makes it look but good video
Do you think Murray’s light will produce the same results ?
Yeah, but why not use the regular? It won't make you go bald if that's the reason why. I've been using it since grade school.
Lambochaser regular Murray’s just be so damn thick lol PAUSE
@@DMitch115 lol you ain't lying about that.
How often in a week would you perfer to use Murray's twice in a week
Really like once a year 😂😂😂.. Seriously though like whenever you wash it... Otherwise it'll cake up in your head.
Shawn I been wolfing for two months and half and tomorrow I plan on getting my first cut but idk what guard I should use
Tre KillaKilla88 for that amount of time hit it with the 2 guard
2 is usually decent especially if you plan to keep wolfing., 1 and a half if you been spinning for a while but ain't looking to keep wolfing.
Is it me or did his texture change while he was brushing
Aye is it bad to keep yo durag on all the time? Ive been waving for some months but I can't vids on specific questions I have
It’s not bad, but you don’t want to keep it on all the time because you want to give your hair time to breath as well as allowing your curls to decompress
Aight thx peeps
Why dis dude sound sick
Lol I was sick lol
the only thing that pomade do s hold your style. the brush is what get you waves.
Thats a fact. Thats why I stopped using it.
That murrays always gone work its gone lay that hair down like you want it might be unatural but its still the truth
EXACTLY
