momotaro was born at Ueno zoo in Tokyo on jul.3,2000 and came to our zoo on Oct.18,2010.
He is beautiful and handsome ,the silverback of our troop.
He is a little timid,and scared of new things.
He sometimes shows lovely behaviors that melt our hearts.
He is making efforts to be a good dad for his two sons.
⭐️ゲンキ Genki ♀(1986/6/24)
Genki was born at our zoo on Jun,24,1986.
After mating with several males without a pregnancy she found her perfect partner Momotaro.
Now she is a loving and caring mom for her two sons.
She sometimes behaves boldly,yet she can also be sensitive.
Genki has a cute face with shining eyes.
⭐️ゲンタロウ Gentaro ♂(2011/12/21))
Gentaro was born at our zoo on Dec.21,2011,as Momotaro and Genki's first son.
Unfortunately Genki didn't have enough milk,so he was nursed by keepers for his first 10.5 months.
Now he loves his mom,and his face really looks like her.
He also loves people .
Everyone immediately agrees that he is a very adorable boy.
⭐️キンタロウ Kintaro ♂(2018/12/19)
Kintaro was born at our zoo on Dec.19,2018.
He has big bright eyes and long eyebrows.
He is growing fine ,being loved by his parents and brother.
He love to play by himself,with his father.
He is still small, but smart and strong-willed.
His cute appearance and behavior attract everyone's interest.

Genki has been through a lot as a mother. She had a stillborn ( first pregnancy ) She had Gentaro and the staff had to take him from her because he wasnt feeding and she is very maternal so I understand and respect her anxiety when it comes to Kintaro. People think Apes are just animals but they are very emotionally intelligent beings. They feel sadness, anxiety and all the same emotions we do.

Back then it seemed her strategy was to let Gentaro and Momotaro interact with Kintaro like.. 30 seconds at a time. She let them interact but seemed to have a time limit, which i always found interesting. Like is that just her strategy or is it instinctual to allow only short contact as she knows they need to build a relationship with Kintaro, but it's like she is weighing THAT with another 'danger' timer in her head. Just makes me wonder what exactly she is thinking, OR if it really is instinctual to allow only small windows of contact that increases over time.
Genki jealous of kintaro and gentaro why she withdrew her baby, beautiful to see gentaro's patience with his brother. ❤

Cuando yo trato de escoger a uno de ellos como mi favorito , no puedo, Genki me da lástima como ha sufrido y ya es mayor! Tan buena madre ! Momo lo ves fuerte pero es tierno y me parece no es feliz ! Muy aburrido siempre con ese cuerpo que ni puede ejercitar , y ya casi no tiene cariño de nadie (en la actualidad, este video es viejo por eso me dio gusto jugando con Genki) Kintaro es un bebé que adora a su familia! Con esos ojitos tan bello! Y Gentaro es un genio y cariñoso que ama a su mamá y hermano aunque ya en el 2022 teme un poco al padre , y de pensar que seguro lo trasladan a un zoológico para casarlo porque ya tiene edad , nos va a poner muy triste pero la vida tiene que seguir su curso y él tendrá una familia !

This is the only video I've seen that indicated Gentaro was aware of nipples. I wondered if he had shown any curiosity since he did not nurse Genki because the quality of her milk was declining and he was taken and raised by one of the keepers. Once when Momotaro was playing with Kintaro dad tried to get Kintaro to nurse from his own nipples but Kintaro was not interested but is showed Momotaro inducing Kintaro to perform on him as Kintaro naturally nursed from Genki. The awareness is stunning and I wonder what else there is to be learned.

eine meiner Lieblingsszenen in mehr als 4 Jahren war eben die, wo Kintaro ohne Vorwarnung zu Gentaro geht und wie selbstverständlich auf sein Schoss klettert. Das war noch die Zeit, als Gentaro nicht mit ihm spielen durfte. Genki hatte wohl noch kein Vertrauen in Gentaro und befürchtete wahrscheinlich, dass dem Baby es zustoßen könnte. Ich habe mich unheimlich für Gentaro gefreut, damals hat er Zuneigung so sehr gebraucht. ❤🦍❤🦍❤🦍❤🦍
