I hate when people are unnaturally rough with the baby during a box opening. It’s like they’re trying to push the limit of the doll’s strength- spinning the head, opening the mouth really far, squishing silicone too hard. We all know people who act like this. It’s like they have a compulsion to tear it up.

Interesting subject and your little boy is adorable. One of my pet peeve is box openings. Most people spend too much time on the outfits that they get and not enough time on the babies.

I agree with your pet peeves. One of my pet peeves is the doll being just stuffed in a box with no protection. I know it's not pretty, but I always line my boxes with a big white trash bag. I always worry that the package might have to sit out in the rain.
I bought clear bags for this very reason! 💗💗💗

🧸👶I TOTALLY agree! I can't stand watching box opening videos with pets who are in the middle of everything! I remember watching one with two curious fur babies! One was a small dog and the other was a cat. They are like children and they want to be part of everything! It drives me nuts, too! Little Henley is adorable!

I love all the vintage things that was sent to you that's amazing you must share how you clean them to get rid of the little spots also that onesie may I ask where it came from I have two 16 inch tiny twins boy and girl and everything just hangs off of them so I'm always looking usually hoping to find stuff second hand but you know sometimes you got to do what you got to do there's some videos that I watched that I'm like oh my and I just don't watch them anymore you're definitely one of the favorite channels I have been watching
Awwwwww so sweet!!! I will do a video for you!!!! Also Walmart has the most Preemie stuff I can find and especially if you use Walmart online and have it shipped to you! Make sure you wash them in hot water and dry on high & they will shrink down nice! 😊
@@KitstoKradlesNursery yes I get most of my stuff if it's new from Walmart because you know that's the only place we have here in town I shop thrift stores often and on marketplace sometimes I can find good deals on preemie clothes some of it's just so huge though my twins are tiny

They make silicone cookware. So I can see the paint getting sratched but I can't see stuff messing up the actual silicone. I have vinyl dolls because of price. I don't have thousands of dollars for a doll. Needs come before wants.
how do you paint a full body silicone and have them look realistic? also is it okay to use cornstarch baby powder to powder a full body silicone if you can’t afford silicone matting powder?
Silicone velvet matting powder will preserve the silicone better but if that’s all you have then that’s much better than regular baby powder
All of that vintage clothing came from my fifth grade teacher that she gave me when I started fostering years ago and the note card and the file look on the back of the note card that is an actual store that still exist in Michigan

I love to see peoples pets. I love animals! Dogs, cats, birds, horses etc. My biggest pet peeve is when their pet is all over the baby. Then I can't see the baby! Love the happy mail from Auntie Andrea. 🌹❤

I have watched several videos on UA-cam & if it works I will make a video, I believe you use very hot water, Dawn dish soap and Oxyclean. I will be pre-treating with Shout stain treatment
I agree about all these pet peeves! I’ve seen them all and I don’t like them either. I have a cat and she is not allowed near my reborns or dolls. I treat my dolls like I would a real baby.

Oh my goodness, yes! I was watching a box opening, and the person had a female boxer, and the dog stole the babies new lovey from the box opening! By the time she got it from her, it was all slobbery and she just let the dog have it! I felt so bad for the person who took the time and cared to create such a beautiful box opening! You know they were watching it too! 😥

Can you do a video on how to make a mold of a silicone baby girl and boy. I am trying to learn how to make them. Teach me all you can on making them, painting them and anything else you can think of I might need to learn. I love your videos. Thank you!
I’m not a sculptor so I don’t make the sculpts, molds or pour the kits. Those are all very different talents, performed by very special artists! It takes many artists of all different talents to make one amazing doll! LESSON #1 🥰

I wanna know about silicone baby's just got one and the mouth is opened but not deep enough for a newborn pacifier can i open the mouth and how.

Mine is when i ask about coa alot off sellers will say bountiful baby dont do coa's but there babys are defo real sculps if you don't no any better you could be supporting fake sculps love your nusery xx
COAs are a fairly new thing over the last handful of years because of the scams, a lot of the older sculpts do not have them, so if you are new, it’s very hard to tell, you just have to go with a very well-known artist. This isn’t just bountiful baby sculpt, there are thousands of kits that do not have them. I think if you are looking to buy, you should pick out a kit that you know has one and look up what that COA looks like, no who the sculpting artist is and should probably know what the addition size is. That way when you ask for a photo of the COA you know what it looks like and you know that it’s legit. I think as buyers now we have to know what we want and know everything about it before we purchase, I think with all of the scams we all have to do more research before we purchase, and that is up to us as the buyer. 🩷

i have a silicone baby pet peeve that i see a lot more then i would like but when someone has them and they grab or shake the baby like it just drives me insane especially as a silicone mommy but Henley is soooo adorable congrats to the new mommy

Yesssss! I have a dog too and she thinks they are real, I have let her smell the hair on my Saskia! She was whining and crying thinking she was real so I let her sniff but no kisses! 💋

I love your nursery! The “bakery” is so cute! Omg. I love dogs but, I cringe when I see the cats and dogs crawling on reborns and their things. Also, one channel has a child that goes crazy taking over video….cant do it.

I received a baby from a beginner artist in my hometown she is a very good artist if I have to say so myself I am a collector I am thinking about starting up a UA-cam channel but I am nervous I wanted to see if you can make a video letting us know how to tell if your baby needs to be stuffed I know after a while you should need to be able to freshen up their stuffing I also wanted to know what is your think on the baby in the conversation that I am having on here with you is also the baby I received from her I asked her what is his kid named she tells me that she doesn't know I wanted to see if I could send you a picture of him to see if maybe you can help me out to find out what name he is the reason why I want to know is I wanted to have another one made of him so I can make that one a girl so I can make them twins if you don't mind could you please help me out thanks a lot and I love watching your channel I have learned a lot from you and I am still learning from you every time I watch your channel thank you very much for your patience and your time

I love these kind of videos! I totally agree about the pets! My 3 biggest pet peeve’s are…
1. Fake poop on silicones during role play videos.
2. When people treat newborns as if they are toddlers.
3. When people man handle the baby when dressing it.
Oh my goodness, yes! What the heck is up with all the poop videos? And they get millions of views! It Hass to be little kids watching those videos because I have no idea why anybody wants to watch fake poop videos!!!! lol 😂
@@KitstoKradlesNursery There are some people that put it only in the diaper and don’t let it get on the doll and those are better but still kinda weird but I die on the inside when people rub fake poop all over the back of their thousand dollar doll because I can only dream of having one and if I did I would be afraid to touch it🫣😅
I wish that “ box openings “ would let us see the baby in alllll its traveling splendor. I love to see the outfit & bonnet that the baby arrives in on the baby ☺️. I really dislike when the feet are uncovered, then the pants or dress or sleeper are removed to show the art work. Show me the baby as it arrives in alllll their precious garments; looking like a REAL BABY arriving “ home.” Then show me the STUNNING ARTISTRY 😍❣️I click off box opening videos as soon as the collector starts stripping the “ baby “ from feet ……. 😖. To me, viewing it that way, it’s just a play Dolly, not really a work of art. I want to see the REALISM of the art work looking like a REAL BABY, that is the goal after all. after all the “ oooohs & awwwwes “, then show me the painting of REALISM of the work of ART ☺️.

First of all, thank you so much! I think that the box opening style for Reborns has been around for a very long time! I think it’s the anticipation of looking at the baby one little tiny part at a time starting at the toes and working your way to the top of the head, which is usually covered by a diaper or plastic wrap to protect the baby. I think it’s the anticipation of opening all the little gifts and then working your way up slowly from the teeny tiny toes all the way up to the end and finally seeing the big reveal of the face. If you have ever done a box opening this might’ve been you but some people do choose to not build up that anticipation for the viewers or themselves and just go straight to popping the diaper off the face and seeing the whole strait away! Every collector is different and when you pay this much money and especially if you buy a custom and you don’t know what the baby looks like and you have anticipated the delivery for possibly eight months to a year like a real baby, taking your time and opening up that baby very slowly and examining every little tiny finger and toe all the way up to the end, feels AMAZING! We have a saying in the Reborn community that Reborns are born breach because we received them feet first! Let’s face it with a real baby. You would be seeing it headfirst but it would be naked and not in all of its glorious traveling clothes, so honestly, with a real, you would be bathing and dressing the baby later anyhow. Especially with silicone that is a full body silicone baby, I want to get that baby naked as fast as possible! Lol I want to see every little part and make sure everything is OK because my heart is literally up into my throat the entire time I am waiting for that baby to be custom-made shipped and delivered and I am praying for months on end that nothing is torn or wrong with the doll. But that is just me! Once I know baby is OK, I can relax and enjoy! 😉
I also cringe when I see people having their pets all over the dolls, especially if they are packing a doll to send off to a new mommy. to me that is very inconsiderate to the person who paid for the doll. I stop watching if its particularly bad. Lol it makes me nervous. I love my pets but they are allowed no where near my dolls.
