Pretty good breakdown. This is roughly how I see it playing out too. I'm a new fan still working my way through the manga because the TV show interested me, though I read East Blue before I watched it. Its fun being "on board." And I'm looking forward to the show running for a long time.
@@ShinGlassman054 Yeah super excited to see her be cast as a Latina woman with attitude. That totally screams Robin to me and I think it's great that they will have less white characters in the show!
I have been trying to audition for the show. Using my large body and puppetry skills, I want to play Chopper! I promise if cast I will make him cute and not annoying.
I was saying for a long time Alabasta is gonna have to be a whole different season or maybe a movie but by making 3 arcs into one episode it seems pretty feesible. I do think they'll do only Logue Town in one episode and Reverse Mountain and Whisky Peak 1, I'm just saying that cause the Logue Town episode will be the reintroduction episode and I think having all those arcs happening all at once will be to much. so maybe having the entire season be 10 episodes would be 1. better for the pacing, and 2 better to flesh out everything in general. the rest of your imagined seasons I completely agree with.
10 episodes would absolutely be the best route. I think if they did loguetown and reverse mountain in episode 1 and whiskey peak in episode 2, then move on to the rest of the arcs it’d be the best way to do it. But let’s just hope Netflix will let them make 10 episodes of it. Because I think it would be too awkward to end Alabasta halfway through and then finish Alabasta and do Skypiea in season 3. But we will all find out soon. I’m hoping we get some more casting announcements are estimated release periods for season 2 soon.
@@pimi8522 I hate when people bring up this dumb take. ehh whatever. heres the truth: oda wanted the crew to reach reverse mountain by chapter 100, therefore he rushed the manga. but after that, he asked the people behind the anime to addd what you called "filler". if you need further proof that its canon, oda with colaboration with someone i dont remember released a novel about louge town where we see the same events we saw in the anime, further proving that yes the events in the anime are indeed canon. next time factcheck pls
skipping long ring long land!? I don't wanna hear this no more. long ring long land is the perfect setup for the duology of water 7 and enies lobby, planting the seeds for the fear of losing a crewmate so that fear is fresh in the veiwer's mind going into W7 and EL. it's also a great breather arc to start the season off with, coming off of skypeia with a reletively low stakes adventure to get reaquainted with the show.
Great video... but what concerns me is that assuming they take 2 years to prepare a season, it will take 24 years to get the whole story. these actors will be in their 40s by then.... I doubt Netflix will be able to pull it off
Likely what will happen depends on the success of season 2. If it preforms well again Netflix will probably green light them for multiple more seasons. Then they will probably film two or even three season back to back and then get greenlit for more, film another two or three seasons, etc. eventually they could start releasing a season once a year.
I imagine the possibility of a recast of the strawhats after marineford with the straw hats return with new look, like Inkai is the youngest at 20 the rest are in their late 20s and nami actress is already 30 now, imagine playing 20 years old at age 50
There is a problem with your version. Talking chapters cost more than action chapters. Water 7 cannot have the same amount of episodes as Enies Lobby, Lobby is going to have less episodes.
I strongly believe they are gonna cut out a lot of things. Whiskey peak or Little garden are getting axed for sure, jaya or skypeia, water 7 can potentially take place mostly on the sea train to save the budget for ennies lobby cgi. Long ring long land is absolutely getting cut, amazon lily is on the chopping block as well. What we will likely see is stuff like vivi and chopper being introduced together, straw hat fights on alabasta being significantly shortened, luffy only losing to crocodile once rather than 3 times. No bellamy. I imagine it like this. S2-Loguetown(1ep), Drum(2ep), Alabasta(6ep) S3-Skypea(4ep), Water 7(1ep) Ennies Lobby(4ep) S4-Thriller bark(2ep) sabaody(1ep) impel down(2ep) marineford(4ep) S5-Timeskip(1ep) fishman island(3ep) dressrosa(5ep) S6-Zou(1ep) wholecake (6ep) Wano act 1(2eps, ends with luffy defeated by kaido) S7-Wano act 2,3 (6eps) egghead (3eps) Personally i dont want it to run that long, i think timeskip is a good place to stop
It’s so incredible how you were able to sync the art to the arc

You’re an incredibly underrated channel, remember me when you’re famous
Thanks, that means a lot 🙏🏻
Season 4 is the one I'm most excited for ❤
Same here. I’m so excited for Robin and her story.

Girlie, that linework is fire
U should try alcohol markers
I’ve used alcohol markers a couple times, just working on improving with them😂

I think they could do it in 8 seasons. I think future seasons could get pumped up to twelve episodes to accomplish this.
Definetly louge town will be longer than just a part of 1 episode. It will be at least 1 whole episode and maybe even more.
I really don’t see them doing whisky peak and little garden at all. Considering they skipped Don Krieg and all
@@pimi8522 i agree. But louge town has a lot of important moments that i hope they wont skip
Nah loguetown is sooo short easily done in like 30min
@@totallynotdio1311 most of it on the anime was filler and anime only, it’s a very short manga arc. I see no harm in adapting the manga one

True. Jacob Romero confirmed it was around 50 episodes.

i just want s2 to end when the st bliss ship falls on them and strawhats seperating at the end of a season. cliffhangers are so underused in modern tv
Those would be such great ways to end those seasons.

Too true
There is a problem with your version. Talking chapters cost more than action chapters. Water 7 cannot have the same amount of episodes as Enies Lobby, Lobby is going to have less episodes.
True, but if they have the flashbacks with Robin become a B-plot throughout the season, they can balance out the budget more. But I guess we’ll see.
