The biggest reason someone may go with these laundry machines is that they general take up more space creating horizontal room for a folding table or more storage. The LG unit comes apart with a few screws and two plugs. Took me literally 5 minutes and makes moving the unit into the home a thousand times easier.

I have that Speed Queen unitized and it is awesome. I am downsizing and won't be taking it with me. I wish speed queen made a smaller unit.
I only have room for a 24" unit and just can not make up my mind which brand to go with.
