What is the stain color of the mantel? I really like the color. Overall looks great!

Thanks! I have a video of us making the mantel here. ua-cam.com/video/u1VgL0uJqD0/v-deo.html Its actually paint. Its leftover Solo Paint in the color Iron Ore by Sherwin Williams. Its a super high gloss paint. I applied it and then wiped it off much like is done with stain. It left a great finish, smooth as if it had a poly top coat.

I’m currently building this and I just wondered how did you guys make it to where in case you have to move or disconnect any cables, to be able to reach in the back and be able to do that

All the cables are moved up the wall and centered to the black rectangle section. The outlets are within arms reach. Its a tight squeeze but doable if/when needed.
