The big 4WD's on triples are just so cool looking! At 6 inched depth, he's working that cultivator fairly deep. It's doing a very nice looking job.
I think the styling of this series of John Deere 4WD's is some of the nicest JD has had in a good many years.
Thanks for the history on this WIL-RICH cultivator. It leaves a nice seed bed and can cover a lot of acres. I haven't seen any around me here in northeast Ohio. Mostly JD, Case IH or Sunflower. Appreciate your time Jason.
Wil-Rich has a pretty good following east of the Mississippi for many years. They seem to have more dealers in the mid west today than in than in the east. AGCO had a 50% share of Wil-Rich for several years but sold it to Vaderstadd in 2021. Wil-Rich products were sold as heavy duty Sunflower products for several years.
We run a 235 magnum on a 36' Salford 550 cultivator. We have run Salford since the 90s.
Wow now that can cover ground, we’ve finally started planting here in north central Indiana, just wish the ground temp was warmer.
That cultivator sure covers some ground! A friend of the family has a 8345R & a 4850. He says the 4850 just simply outworks the 45R. I guess that's a sign of the restrictions on emissions
Big fan of field cultivators here in Southern IL, ran Hiniker’s years ago… have ran Case IH’s for the last 20 years
That cultivator was really stuck in the ground! Cool tractor!
The Wil Rich can really work up the seed bed.
We have a 50ft will-rich (9510r pulling) with anhydrous applicator on it here in Nelson county ND. We found with our rear applicator shanks (7in deep) where causing a lot of load in the rear and twisting the frame at the far wing connection’s. Swapped them with front shovel positions and it pulled more front heavy now. Great video!
Spring tillage is just nice to watch😉👍 that cultivator does a nice job👍👍
It’s a great season in the field.
Thank you for the video
Thank you for watching.
we have a 9470R and a 47 ft 2230 field cultivator a nice combination, nice video jason keep up the good work
Very nice tillage team. Thank you for sharing. I just filmed a 60ft 2230 a week ago.
Great video. That is an acre-eating machine. Thanks for bringing me along.
I always enjoy getting to see field cultivators. It is mostly no till here but there are few.
Thanks for that history, and aslo for the video
Thank you for watching.
I'd hate to meet that combo on the road 😊.
Amazing cool video friends
Thank you for watching.
I have used 30 ft feild cultivator pull it with a 8430 John-deere tractor on our southern Indiana farm,It did good job of working ground ahead of the planter.
Very nice tillage team. I have wanted to film an 8430. It’s one one of 5 John Deere 4wds I have not had a chance to film? Could you email me at toytractortimes@gmail.com
I love the tractor!😊
The 9620R is a good tractor.
Awesome Video!
Thank you Sebastian.
Hello! Tremendous QXS15 engine music! Awesome cultivator!
😁👍👍👍
@@bigtractorpower 👌
It does a very nice job
Wil-Rich produces the heaviest field cultivators in the industry. They create a nice seed bed.
Parabens like like eu sou seu fã amo seu canal e seus vídeos sucesso sempre 👍👍👏👏🚜🚜👌👌🇧🇷🌹

Good video.
Thank you for watching.
That tractor is getting a workout. You can see the tires having to dig into the ground and push dirt behind it.
The Wil Rich is the heaviest deepest running field cultivator on the market. It does a nice job but requires power.
@@bigtractorpower oh? Interesting didn’t know that. My uncle would usually run a field cultivator maybe 3-6 inches deep depending. Now I think they use high speed tilling? Not sure. That equipment really gives the big horse a workout!
non-farmer here: what are the advantages/dis-advantages of a cultivator like this one VS a vertical tillage machine?
👍👍
Thank you for watching.
would it be better if the attachment was smaller and the tractor could move at a higher speed? I think it would be better to prepare the soil for sowing
Howdy bigtractorpower
Hi. Thank you for watching.
When you think " how big can these implements get"!
Wil-Rich built an 80ft QX2 for a few years. It was 21ft on road transport. The challenge as implements get wider is moving them on the road and getting each section to level the soil was evenly as the center section.
❤
Thank you for watching.
Central Ohio has rain and more rain.mid 30 s temp.
Does that tractor have some sort of tire inflation system on it? Noticed the hose on the valve stem
It’s to access the middle tire valve stem.
The outside gauge maintains equal air pressure and allows fir single point inflation instead of checking/airing tires separately.
That tractor has all the load it can take.
Not even close
@@CookFarms its different spinning left and right. And they can't get much above 4 miles an hour at most. It's lugging like crazy.
@@sew1194 that tractor has 620hp
@@matthewtaliaferro That's true but it's struggling to the max. It's got all it wants and probably too much to be honest.
@@sew1194 You have no clue what you’re talking about
Việt Nam đây mấy ông già 😅
What's with the steel cable that runs from the front weight bracket underneath the tractor??
Tow line in case of a stuck. Pulls behind the articulation pins so you don't pull the tractor in two.
It is a tow cable to help pull the tractor out of a wet spot or to pull another tractor out of the mud.
it prevents the use of a shovel when you get it buried
WHY the harrow on the back instead of a rolling basket?
They prefer the drag style harrow in their soil soil conditions. I do have a video on a 60 ft John Deere Field Cultivator coming up that has a rolling basket.
Sure looks like it pulls hard
Looks like he's running it very deep.
@@lynwessel2471 if you listened. He said that’s the heaviest cultivator in the industry
@@matthewtaliaferro Heavy and probably high spring trip pressure which makes it pull hard but does a more uniform job.
Sweet tractor
The 9620R is a good tractor.
Would be nice to see some Väderstad-equipment on @bigtractorpower UA-cam channel 👍
I agree. I have not had an opportunity to see any. I do have videos of their Wishek and Willrich products.
How far is Wahpeton from where you are located?
