Around the time Ian Livingstone and Steve Jackson created the fighting fantasy books (D&D) a whole series of books were published called Choose-Your-Own-Adventure and were written for young adults. It’s great to see the idea come back around with books like, My Lad’s Choosing.
Cool book collection. Got the Harry Potter books for my birthday last year and I love the books and movies. I've read the Dragon Tattoo trilogy books back in high school and they're pretty intense but engaging. Also seen the Swedish trilogy and the David Fincher film. Never read the book of Memoirs of a Geisha but I've seen the film.
Maybe you've already answered this question(s) before but how long does it usually take you to read a book? How many books do you read in a month? How much time in a day do you put aside for reading?
Water for Elephants is a great circus book albeit not set in a fantastical world. Whilst the story is fictitious, there is some ‘interesting’ things about real circuses of the time.
I went through that as well.. needed to go through all my physicals. I kept buying more physical or buying for my Kindle. Also, highly recommend reading The Kind Worth Killing! I read it a few weeks ago and I was hooked!

Shogun is the first book of a 7 book series called the Asian Saga and is based on a true story.
I'd recommend the Darkfever series if you haven't read it already.
I've heard good things about this one! Adding to my tbr
The Harry Potter books are a great Christmas read! I don’t know why, but I think of winter everytime I read that series.
