You missed greasing the crank and adjusting the tension ring.

Good video. Just installed the exact same setup on my road bike. Did not use any spacers because it was not needed :) Also had to tighten the adjuster ring on the left side ofc..

Hi, I just ordered this set up and I’m preparing to install it. Can you tell me what BB you have? I have Shimano Pressfit (BB86). The Rotor site, which is not very clear with anything, says I need one .5mm spacer + oring for each side. I’m Hoping to use my current Shimano bottom bracket and not have to install the rotor one.Thank you.

@@johnpaulstez Im using the shimano BB that was on the bike, think it was BB86 as you say. Try and install it without spacers and se if it works. If not just install one spacer and try again :)

Does it make any cracking noises on bb90?
I‘m currently riding an old rotor 3d spindle with power2max on my emonda. It is making terrible noises. I‘m afraid of buying a rotor again but the aldhu cranks look very interesting to me... do you have any experiences to share?

Sadly BB90 is common to creaking. Trek has an oversized BB90 upgrade kit to stop the creaking. If it's still creaking after then, then you'll have to get the frame repaired which Trek can do.

i do not suggest using rotor road chainring bolts because shimano chainring bolt are longer
