This was a 3 day 2 night trip along the Rocky Mountain front then into the Bob Marshall. We saw a grizzly bear with a cub and dealt with lots of moisture. Still an awesome trip with even more awesome people. This was my first trip with Travis and he was an absolute blast to talk with and backpack with!
So nice seeing all the wildlife. The colors of the flowers and surroundings is beautiful!

Great video! I'm so glad you got that shot near the end with the muddy trail. Especially at one of the points where the full width of the trail was mud, there was no way around it!. I'm so glad that I finally got to hike with you and Lacey. Excellent company! Hopefully we'll do more together before the end of the season!

Nice video. I commented on Travis’s video that I always love it when he does trips with people with other UA-cam channels as it generally means more videos coming. Loved the camas shot at 8:15. You found the good stuff that you can eat.

Hey, nice job; not easy to make a muddy, rainy trek look like fun, but you did it! I came really close to running into you all this time. I had planned to packraft the NF Sun that same weekend, but bailed at the last minute due to the water being way too high. Dang! Hope our trails cross in the near future and I'll keep enjoying your excellent vids in the meantime!

Another fine backpacking video from a dedicated backpacker! I never like to backpack in the rain. You made the best of it and ended up with sunshine. And it didn't appear to be very mosquito infested. Nice trails!
On your group backpacking adventures, have you ever thought of outlining the day's events, etc. and scripting a brief talk around the campfire at night to include with the video? For instance, what was the group feeling about meeting the grizzly and cub?
Thanks stanley! That's actually an interesting point you brought up about the question / feeling part of the group sections. I may ramble incoherently a bit but here is my perspective. 2018 thru Mid-2020 I had that questionnaire section in all my videos. My wife and I are both pretty introverted, since this is my main hobby I got to work around that, with being introverted AND camera shy, I saw it would kind of take Lacey out of the outdoor experience every-time I cram a camera in her face (the exception is our bigger trips where she expects it and it's more of me making a one off 'haha' observation). Mid-2020 onwards; It now is down to trip length, if it's 3 days or less I wont do it because it a short time out there, let everyone live it. If its 4 days or more, its pretty involved and people may actually want to vocalize their opinion out loud more so than "it was crazy" or "it was beautiful" and you get to know the crew better so you can gauge their comfort range.
Now there are exceptions. My friend Aaron is a master of words so I'll always try to put him on the spot as its impossible to take him out 'of the zone' or 'wilderness experience' because of how focused he is. Aaron could break a leg and his back falling off a cliff and still be excited at the attempt to make a first summit attempt as a crippled on the spot.

Used to do it all the time, didn't like the feeling. Now only do it on bigger trips. Except for Aaron.
@@NorthwestWanderer thank you Andrew for your concerned reply. From watching backpacker UA-cam videos of group adventures, it seems like shyness is a common trait. But I can't help think that at camp after a long days rough journey there isn't quite a bit of camaraderie expressed. You are so good! Your videos are so good! Thank you for sharing them!
