If only in real life is that easy to take a shoulder shot instead of killing someone but it's not that easy in real life you don't have 20 or 30 seconds to make up your mind what to do you have less than a tenth of a second

That subject has been brought up on ALOT of cop shows with body cam footage and like you said if someone is 10ft away with knife in hand and starts coming at you you have a fraction of a second to make a decision, I know cops would shoot you in the shoulder if they had time for it to be an option but it rarely is and I feel genuinely bad for some of those cops cuz they were definitely trying to talk people into calming down but sadly not everyone listens to reason.
@@robbieallan6522 I know it's been a lot of time trying to talk them down and then by that time the people are close enough they don't have time to aim for a shoulder or a leg what people seem to forget but also would like to go home to his family at night too his kids and his wife instead of worrying about shooting a junkie in the leg of arm and save their life they are taught in the police academy shoot to put someone down or they don't get back up they always don't hit the perfect spot to kill them right away sometimes they don't kill them sometimes they do but at the police academy they teach him you shoot what a big spot and you put them down that way the police officer gets to go home at night the bad guy well he might get to go home and not go to the the morgue but he's the one that made that decision not the cop
