You wife is correct. This Video was shot in 2 hours solely on 16 iPhones and 1 Drone in in a underground parking in their hometown of Monterrey, Mexico
Their original music is what really makes them special. The arrangements are always very unique, and very much themselves every time. No two songs sound alike. Every one has its own unique vibe. Their lyrics are ALWAYS very deep, and usually touch on their outlook on modern society and the human condition. The maturity in their writing is far beyond their ages.
They are amazing in concert! I just did 4 shows in Texas and LA, 3 of them from the front row. They are coming out with the full album (Evolve is part of that) June 24th and doing some more touring!
You’ll be surprised by their lyrics. Every song has a meaning. They have stated that they sometimes rewrite the music to fit the lyrics they want to bring forward
Saw them live recently and was blown away with their performance. This song is great but it’s even better when you see them play it live…high octane energy really gets the crowd going. 🤘😎❤️⚠️
Please continue, at least for a long while, with only their original material. They have over 40 original songs, and every one of them is well worth a listen. The flavors they have tried throughout the years are varied, but each was done with the utmost care and solid musicianship. It's some really good stuff. They are not a cover band and, while their covers were great, they are definitely trying to distance themselves from a "cover band" label. This video was made by themselves. In the video's description is the explanation. Many iphones and a drone.
I love that they try different "flavors" ! Humans are multi-faceted and the fact that their music reflects that is fun! I'm sure we'll run across things we relate to less, or even more than this one but that's half the fun. And putting their video together using the phones and a drone is awesome!
@@RyanSquared Yep. There are some songs I don't like as much, but it's not because they're weak songs, it's because they just don't resonate with me, and in one case, the song is just scarier than I like (Stalker).
I get the impression that your fella likes his music really heavy . Their song called Error sounds quite heavy , from the new album , from the snippet that we heard , so will look forward to that reaction cheers guys .
They really have carved out their own spot, their own niche. In fact, what I consider to be their own unique genre Daniela calls "pure rock". They have gathered an audience of rockers of all ages along with numerous metalheads! For a trio, they sure can fill a soundspace! Paulina writes some amazing deep and thoughtful lyrics. We'd be happy to listen to their Spanish songs also! I think making it through their whole backlog will be a goal for us. It is difficult for me (Sam) not to just do it! We did a reaction to their collab with Alessia Cara, it was so good!!
@@RyanSquared They have quite an extensive backlog going back to their first live performance as The Warning before mostly family and friends, and doing four covers, back in December 2013. The opening song featuring Ale, just turned 9, was Muse's "Hysteria". Amazing! And great harmonies, as well. Between then and now, many great live performances and an impressive catalogue of original compositions. There is also an early official music video ("XXI Century Blood"), and a professionally produced outdoor video of them covering the Foo Fighters' "The Pretender".
Shot on 16 iPhones and a drone. Keep on going down the rabbit hole of discovery. Their original stuff is exceptional and you have a lot of songs to get through including Queen of the Murder Scene, a concept album about unrequited love, Murder and Madness. It’s pure genius.

*FIRST OF ALL!!* The Warning *IS NOT A METAL BAND.* They are a *Hard Rock Band.* The Warning (and current ages) Daniela (22 - Dany) Guitar, Keyboards, Lead Vocals Paulina (20 - Pau = pow) Drums, Keyboards, Vocals Alejandra (17 - Aleeh) Bass, Keyboards, Backing Vocals Question: What do you consider *HEAVY??* Dany doesn't shred. They are not metal, but they do seem to attract many followers who are into metal. Music for all (okay, most) tastes, because their music and their lyrics are compelling!
Want to know the real down to earth of how scary this band is?? Video & studio doesn't *DUE THIS BAND JUSTICE* at all. Once you see them live you'll get it. This is a better live. This video (Evolve) was recorded with 18 iPhone's and one drone. They hired a production team for their other videos.
I genuinely liked it and will definitely seek out more! I like good metal, THAT YOU CAN UNDERSTAND, but what keeps me coming back is when there's more substance than just crunchy hooks. #My2Cents
They consider themselves rock rather than metal, although exactly where the boundary lies (and why there needs to be a boundary at all) escapes me. They do have some heavy songs; the title track from Queen of the Murder Scene perhaps being the heaviest to date.
Their version of Enter Sandman (2021) is very imaginative and has long become what I think of as Enter Sandman, but their originals are IMO much better. Live, when you have an opportunity, is even better. Some bands are great in the studio, but their live performances are iffy. The Warning's studio recordings are great (the songs are outstanding), but live is really where they shine. I saw them for the first time early last month in Boston, and it was the best concert of any genre I've attended. They have a reputation for playing loud, but it is not deafening or overwhelming (I believe that some bands use excessive volume to mask their inadequacies; that's one thing The Warning lack). Their sound is solid but crystal clear. They are energized by an audience, however large or small. This song is my favorite from Mayday. However, Martirio, which is normally my #5 from Mayday, was transcendent live and I actually considered that performance to be my #2 song overall by The Warning (Survive being #1), pushing a huge logjam down to #3. For music that's so approachable, it really is varied and is not derivative, and yes, they write thoughtful rather than superficial or lurid lyrics. They rock hard enough for anybody, but are very family-friendly and their headlining shows are usually all ages. One fan has told the story of mentioning at the meet and greet at a show that his granddaughter was a big fan of theirs; they practically begged him to bring her to the next show. That's the kind of people they are.
The more I learn about this band, but more I fall in love! I really enjoy their music, but also their humanity and love for their fans. I do agree with you about the idea that some bands use volume to mask something in their performances. Ryan has some partial hearing loss from a concert back in the day.
