Riding a C90 through Europe

- This is the video update for the final leg of my Malaysia to UK trip as I ride through Europe from Bulgaria to France.
In this update you can see just how indestructible a Honda C90 is, and also how fast one can go round the Nurburgring.
Don't forget to check out my website www.c90adventures.co.uk for all your C90 related nonsense. - Авто та транспорт
This must be the best advert for Honda I've seen.
Just...remarkable...imagine a world where everything was made like this?.....fantastic
You mean a older honda civic or Toyota corolla
I still rewatch all the Videos by this guy and giggle on the small jokes and puns. loved this Channel.
It still blows my mind that when I commit my personality to video, people watch it....let alone binge watch it....let alone watch it more than once.
Thank you for your kind words
"You meet the nicest people on a Honda"
Filip Giera when?
@@oilpond it's their marketing slogan when they decided to sell 250k of these, so they wanted to get rid of the bad boy biker image harley has created. And it worked nonetheless.
@@missilerid3r Im quite sure every harley rider rider i have met has been a huge asshole who cant really ride aka wankers. #Honda4eva
@@missilerid3rthanks for the feed back anirudh if that is ur real name😁
@@oilpond omg true
When i see this and then things like "The long way round" - you have ten times the guts and perseverance. On probably 1/1000 of their budget. Hats off to you, mate.
The motorcycle shop in Bulgaria has what looks to be every thrashed and parted out motorcycle in the region. Kudos for recycling and filling a real need for speed!🏍
Adventure motorcyclist level: BOSS. After following Ed for awhile I come to the conclusion that, the argument about what adventure motorcycle is best for around the world travels OR which is more powerful....is null and void .
One simple 150 cc honda and you are gud to go
This is one of the finest videos I've seen on youtube. It's great fun. Terrific job for sure.
How on earth did that C90 engine run?! Simply incredible :D
Luck and blackmagic lmao
Very interesting Ed, I always knew that the c90 was good, but that it kept running even when the inner components were at there last legs is a new one to me. Keep up the good work!
Just had a chance to meet you in Toronto today...what an experience you have made your life into!! I wish you loads of luck in the future...don't stop doing what you obviously love!!!
Simply amazing the little c90 was still running.
I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: Honda don’t make no trash.
Loving my 2021 Honda CRF300 Rally.
Let’s Ride!
you´re funny guy Ed, found you cause of Noraly´s accident 😉- keep on riding and save travels!✌
Oui !!! Bravo Ed, bravo Noraly, et bravo Honda....
Been watching your videos of the trip from start to finish. Have to say that it was awesome to see, amazing how durable the old C90's are...almost considering getting one myself for laughs :)
Huzzah Ed. Been looking forward to this update. What a legend 90 is, she ran with all that going on. Well done both of you. Can't wait for the UK update.
I'm astounded at how reliable that thing is, truly amazing videos brother, subscribed :)
👌
My first bike was a c90.Freedom and bombproof.Massive respect for this voyage.Massive fun watching all the vids.I will buy the dvd's,this fella has earned it.
You have just lived one of my dreams, and I thank you me being able to see it without actually doing it. Your a star friend.
love that bulgarian shop!
I been to Bulgaria in 1999. Awesome place to visit. I totally recommend it to all
Amazing what that little honda can do. Thanks for your trip video
Love all your videos ED. Keep em coming :-)
Great job with the film amd the bike repairs...i dont know how many times ive repaired parts ran for a while then finally broke down amd bought replacement parts...but its still worth it to see what you can do. Making new cog teeth from scratch is still impressive even if they didnt last that long!
Well done Ed, your a legend, looking forward to your next trip
I find Ed to be one of the most amazing people ever. I like him cause he doesn't try to be, he just is. I don't use the word amazing frequently or lightly either
Great adventure dude. Really enjoyed all your Vids Looking forward the the next ones!
It makes me smile every time I watch this.
The only UA-cam channel which means what it says! ADVENTURE!!!
watching this just made my day. totally subed. cant wait to get my c90 on the road after many year of her sitting in a paddock.
I have a honda cm 200 I cant imagin doing a trip like that it only goes 90 km top speed . Great videos what a wonderful adventure . Thanks so much for sharing you are a true insperation
This whole channel is the best c90 ad on earth
Love it.....Those Cub engines are something else, no other motor in the world would run following that kind of abuse.....I currently have a Sym Symba, it replaced my beloved C90 that was stolen 2 months ago.....And it is proving to be an awesome bike. Thanks for posting this video :)
You can never say that riding a bike is not without its faults, but you had more than your fair share of them. Still your problems were meet with lots of very kind and generous people, which made your adventure that much more enjoyable. Keep on biking, Ed! :D
At 2:34 there's an Ohio license plate visible on a (somewhat weary-looking) Harley in Bulgaria. Sometimes I forget Europe actually has a Harley market, let alone apparently imports old American bikes. Also as a proud C90 owner (1980), this video just impresses me. These little things are indomitable, and I love them for it.
Beautiful. I'm planning a 10,000 mile trip on a c90 next summer, starting in England. Your videos are very encouraging.
How was your trip?
Happy you got a good reception in Bulgaria. It's very representative of the country and next time you come back let me know. :D
u r legend my friend! something I have always wanted to do. oh hale the C90. brilliant just brilliant
I have a 1964 Honda CA200 with the OHV 90cc engine. It has not been as reliable as your bike but she’s good for a run through the neighborhood. I love the videos but I’m having trouble with the timeline. Jumping back and forth from England to Columbia to Vietnam to Canada and Alaska. Great to see Rachel again (Columbia). Best of luck. My wife is buying me a shirt for Christmas this year.
That's awesome! Was thinking about a trip around Australia in Oct-Nov, now I'm doing it for sure. And sleeping rough.... love the idea. Thanks for sharing. And great camera work! Hahahaha.
how was it
A lifetime experience, Ed. Keep on 'Hondaing' Looking forward to hearing about your future travels. ^_^
good riding, Ed. 90 did you proud!
Your videos are super I've looked at all. I'm a big fan of you.
Huge thanks for recording and for sharing. Super Like!
absolutely incredible
YOU ARE A LEGEND MATE!!🙏
Literally such a hero hahaha! Can't wait for the DVD to come :D
Amazing how a tiny little engine can take you around the world & at the same time be so much fun & Introduce you to the most amazing people that are so friendly and willing to help in any way. Of course battery power would only take you half the distance in twice the time ya gota live the internal combustion engine 👍✌
Hey mr can you give us the registration number of your bike please, so if we ever see it up for sale we can avoid buying lol. TheThe poor thing we know what its gone through lol.
Seriously though amazing bikes i doubt many modern bike could go through that and survive.FAB VIDEO great life style
Just goes to show you don’t need to spend a fortune to have an amazing adventure. !! Brilliant love it
This was very entertaining. Thanks.
Great, thank you for living my dream....
All the best Ed in your next trip
I really want to go to Bulgaria now. What a shop.
best wishes from Greece!!!!
*kin awesome mate... got an A-reg and I need to get t'engine back in her...inspirational
I actually worked for Suzuki but it use to amaze me the abuse Honda engine would take. I remember a 600 shadow that engine bearings cooked at only 60tho ks+. Hang on when I ran the Vin this Bike was waiting for the first FREE service, the bloke had never touch the thing no oil change or anything actually No oil. You know what, it still ran! Love your vids and enjoying your T shirt, thanks mate.
You are a hero.
3:49: That's an incredible repair, thank God for having made motorcycle gears straight teeth
End of 2022 and we still love Ed... I should probably choose my heroes more carefully.
3:56 LMAO! Great camera work Ed!
Those are nice though. Or, were anyway
Best bike shop in the world😂......Nice vid bro!
Your time around the Ring was still faster than my 34 hp Renault 4 ... :D
What legendary motors Honda make .
you are a legend
I live in the US and have a Bulgarian friend for about three years until he had to move out of the state and he was a super cool guy his name was Yuri my personal experience with Bulgarian people is very friendly
Valiant effort on the gear teeth 😎👌
I have a 43 year old C50 Cub. Great reliable and durable motorcycles.
I wish there was a motorcycle shop/garage like that where I live!
Brilliant !
Absolutely awesome!! I now want to swap my GSXR for a C90 and go riding around......the world! :-)
yeah I noticed the action you were capturing in the shop :D
Loving these updates!! Makes me want to take my cub90 around the world!! I look forward to the c90 dyno, what r they about 8bhp to start with??
nice "camerawork" .. Was lovely tbf ..id done same ..lol ... and what amazing hospitality, you would never get that in UK that's for sure
Glorious! 👍😆😆😆
I love you man❤️ I also have a Honda bike
Excellent
Brilliant your a legend 🔩🔨🔧
Looks like C90s don't even need engines to run, they are just indestructible. They just need love and care.
have really enjoyed all your videos - whens "the UK update" coming!?!
Perfect bike.My next.
I used to deliver pizza's for domminos.... we rode Honda 50's and 90''s ... they restrictiected them for insurance reasons but we could still get sparks off the pegs on the corners..
I used to be a mechanic and they are the most durable engines around, they will literally run on a teaspoon of oil!!
That was amazing mate! If i can ask, roughly how much were you spending on a daily basis when you got back to europe?
Epic trip mate well done , can't believe the bike survived that long with the Oil Pump problems . How many Punctures did you have ?
Awesome...
I'm not too sure, not much happened and I'm so deep in other trips and admin. I think it will be part of the DVD. Plus I've got my arctic circle videos to do....
I am new to your videos. Why did you choose C90 over other heavy, sturdy motorcycles ? Thank you.
Great trip. What's next?
Thanks Ed. I hope this gets another 308,000 views. a more thumbs up. and some good comments.
A c90 lifted higher than any of the other bikes. Fuck yeah.
genio!!!
THIS is fucking awesome!!
Nice Hungarian moment on the Highway there, reminding you to buckle up haha, that engine has seen better days I guess, you should bail it back to Honda, let em have a look at it.. but most likely the test engineer will be like "Thank you, but we have a seen a worse"..still a good torture test, and new toothless friction style oil pump gear.. well soon be seeing it in the new CBR's ...
at 3.50 I see " the action in the shop" . yep ! good enough
I must get a Honda c90 or cg125, I somewhat doubt a 50cc/125cc modern automatic scooter would survive a journey like this, and the engine is very difficult to drop from the frame.
i have a c70, best bike ever
12 volt?
Balkan hospitality 🙌
♡
👍👍
Wow probably coolest video on UA-cam working man here what do you do for money?? Would love to know
Sounds like HELLLLLLLL
So today, you are somewhere in mexico after riding back across north america and how many engines, or rebuilds or times you've had the jug off now?
