When i watched the Godfather Al pacino’s performance was the only thing i could think about for a whole month, it haunted me in the most beautiful way. I’m saying this and i absolutely mean it: Al Pacino’s portrayal of Michael Corleone is the best acting in cinema history. He became this character on such a rooted level that sometimes i refuse to think that it’s someone acting, i feel like Michael Corleone actually existed and i’m watching a life documentary.

Michael is really a tragic character, he grew up with such a bright future, fancy college education, went to war for his country and came back a hero and could’ve been a CEO of a major corporation, politician and so on! But he was thrusted into the crime world to defend his father, his family and the empire his father built.

No. Apollonia was a manipulative goldigger who he conned into marrying him at the hight of the danger and killed. That is the point of the ending..... Coppola showed you after Mary was shot Michael's biggest sins.... he betrayed his wife, he killed her child and she was gone like a dream she has always been. Apollonia was a child ....not sweet innocent child. She had a very ugly side to her. Nevertheless, someone's child. He killed someone's child jut like someone killed his child.
