Hummmm! I do see your point and is well taken. But, for me, having bottle cap rejection means that I do not dig them, and that works fine for me. I dig less iron with the Deus II than any other detector that I have owned over the last 53 tears. Thanks for your time and effort you put into resting. No our conversation was with reference to the new ink display on the Manticore. There is nothing to say the two couldn't be incorporated to further enhance unmasking with the D2. My thoughts were Xp had maybe missed an opportunity with the XY screen, as a lot of operators don't use it. Your suggestion that maybe an adjustment to the software may enhance the use of tones to unmask
I wonder if it is better that it is VDI 4 and not 70 with BC reject If the VDI is 4 and its masking a better target it may push the number up maybe a bit higher than 4 But if it shows 70 and its masking another target you may not notice a change in VDI Just a guess, i could be eay off base
