Ahhh...so you're riding where I grew up; Westchester. You even passed a place where I worked. Today, I live up in the Catskills (work in NYC everyday...towards the end of the vid, I drive those roads daily). I'm literally in cow country. I have the most beautiful roads to ride up here. It's like riding in a Norman Rockwell painting. I used to live in Fort Lee for a bit and would cross the GWB over to NYC to ride back up into Westchester.
Thanks for this video. Usually I prefer to watch crazy city fixed style, but today a good ride on the road was perfect 👍🌤️🚴 I cycled almost two hours today. On a folding bike. With a passenger on the rear rack. In the rain 🤣
02/03/21 - after the snowstorm - locked in the city - dreaming of OCA graveling - thanks for the upload! - oh, and I go this route mostly opposite direction out of the city via highbridge it's a nice escape
Your videos have inspired me during this quarantine man. Going a couple cities away on Wednesday to get a Kona custom gravel bike. Will make a good first ‘serious’ bike. I probably won’t be descending at 80 kph like you ahahaha will stick with light trail work and simple road riding. Keep up the good work!
Great video ! A 360 view would be so much fun for at home bike practice. It would almost be as if we would be riding with you ! Much love from ND (701)
What are your export settings? I can't seem to get my videos to export in a way where youtube's compression plays nicely with pavement patterns nicely. perhaps it's the gopro's high contrast color setting?
Really nice trails, even the gravel was pretty smooth looking. Road wheels and 28's might be the smoother choice for this route. On the upside, you burn more calories with your MTB wheels and bigger rubber selection, that means more brews post ride.
Such a great second half of the route. All the moments that make for a truly great memorable ride, and I'm only 25 mins in so far. Haha, right after I reply I get called out in the video :) 22:48 Oh man, ran into this guy that had his bibs over his jersey once before a big group ride.. we figured he had no idea and thought we would help him out.. what a mistake, he completely flipped on us.
Terry: “aw man this is gonna be a long one” Everyone watching: “GOOD.”

It's a phone like thingy...
what kind of tires do you have on your bike ?
Bro no one waves out here either lmao Ive been playing your game recently now to
What's your preferred tire width for city riding?
That's a lot of miles on gravel tires. More comfortable than 22s, though.
what brand of helmet did you use oh this ride?
Not too long for me. What handlebars are you using on the 22? What flare do they boast? Thanks for everything.
These are Enve Gravel bars

Hey Terry, do you recommend clips or straps for a weekend warrior? I strictly ride pavement
I'm not Terry but I would recommend clips. But you should try gravel or trails. You wont regret it I hope.
Do you have a bio online or anything? Interested in learning a bit about you. Been watching lots of your videos. Keep it up!
I don't other than social media and my website, www.terrybarentsen.nyc
