That coating sounds very good - maybe the bonnet, guards, and underbody too - subject to insects as Andrew asks below? I'd slope the maxtrax on the roof rack to reduce air resistance.

Yeah the treds will be sloped soon I just need to heat up the Rola mounts. Yeah I'll be doing a full chassis spray very soon

The only problem with raptor lining the car is the resale on the vehicle - definitely not to everyone's taste. Good luck and good content.

Yeah sure is mate but I don't planning on selling it in the next 5 years once the engine goes it's got a LS motor waiting for it. But you are right raptor is a bit of a taste

Those treds must kill your fuel economy being mounted in such a way on the front of the roof rack.

How does it go with the porous finish and 10,000 bugs on a night highway run? Still easy to clean up?

@@4x4CampingandAdventures Yeah mate, faded powder coat, scratches, surface rust starting on the underside. Its a good, straight bar so worth giving a birthday.

Sure did mate sand back with 180 then spray on I took the bar off for the whole job heaps easier
