Being from Tokyo, I’m so excited to see your content and also all the heart warming comments❤ I appreciate your fresh perspectives on my hometown as i don’t appreciate enough and i take it for granted 😅 I love how the Oboe player played Japanese Ghibli songs 😂I see how much he loves playing!
Incredible video Drew!! Thanks for sharing your exciting night out in less than $100, inspiration indeed!! I miss Tokyo so much and I can’t wait to return for a visit! Enjoy!! 😁
Welcome back to Japan man, I wish I could be your interpreter. I was so impressed that you have tried so many unique activities! Thanks for sharing such a wonderful video to show my Japan is still attractive to the world 😊
When I go to japan I’m gonna have that google translate app ready for those all Japanese menus and to help communicate, love your videos and thanks for sharing your travels Drew ❤
Me and my family (4) are heading there for the 3rd time in june , japan is fn awesome, we cant get enough , it ticks every box , you leave thinking you've seen soooo much, you get home and relise you saw fuck all the but had the BEST time !!
I'm gonna eventually go to Japan before 2030. I'm excited for a trip I don't have planned. Tokyo looks like it's 100+ years in the future compared to America.
Hi drew! I'm from Russia, watching this video through VPN. Fun fact: oboe is actually one of the hardest instruments to learn how to play, so that guy did an amazing work. Ps. I've been your fan for quite a long time already, you vids are great, i really appreciate it. In fact, even though I am disabled and have walking issues, after watching your channels, i have a dream to visit every country in the world 👍💪
Hey Drew. I want to visit Japan one day. I wana check their vending machines and to see how heir city. They are way ahead of us. Pretty cool place. I love it he city looks pretty cool.
first time coming across your page, tell me why I thought you were Lucas Black😂 if this everything you can do for 100 bucks i'd be having a blast, might have to plan a trip some time but money is tight 😭
Absolutely LOVE Japan, honeymooned there with my wife and we had an incredible time, well worth the 14 hour flight. Tokyo is a lot of fun, we stayed in Shinjuku for part of our time there and it was incredible. So many cool hidden spots, great food and very friendly and helpful people. They make the most of every little of space there in the city too.
@@Richardvlogs. We went through Delta at the time and went in October, so prices were much better than in the summer (prices even in late summer/early fall can be close to half the price). We flew out of Philadelphia since we live in NJ, but it ended up coming to $1450 for both of us, so about $725 each round trip for us.
I just wanted to say a huge thank you for representing Japan. In your vlog , I noticed that you featured a beautiful song played on the oboe, called "Merry Go Round Life". This song actually appears in the movie "Howl's Moving Castle Theme", which is one of the most beloved movies in Japan. If you haven't already, I highly recommend watching the film and listening to the music.
Aww wish I could’ve seen you here in Tokyo Drew! Glad you had fun. Just a heads up for Shinjuku night life be careful which bars you go into. There might be what’s called a ボタクリバー (rip-off bar) that might have girls go up to you to buy them drinks, or the prices of the bill tabulated run extremely high (kid you not, some videos I’ve seen of people going into those bars are being charged like ¥40,000 for a beer in some instances). Anyways great content and if you’re ever back here hope you can visit out to country side and less explored areas.
This reminds me of the time that I wrote a UA-cam comment to a Japanese individual who spoke no English, and I spoke no Japanese. How did we do it? We spoke using numbers and emojis.
Great video!! It was so interesting to watch! I love to discover new things about Japan 💕. I think a lot of Spanish speaking people would love your content! If you ever want to add Spanish subtitles to your videos, please let me know! It'd be so much fun to do Spanish subs for your videos!! Love from Argentina
I have to leave America yet so I live through Drew’s videos. Im 37 just got my passport and I think this would be the first place I would want to travel to. Drew is so much inspiration. Just go
I can't stop loving Japan

Going to be there this September 16th to the 24th. Hows the weather like?
Anyone know which sushi place that was?

I’m couldn’t go to Japan by myself
What sake bar did you go to that you went up in the elevator?
Way cheaper than Canada!
How come it's said Japan is expensive?
Did you tip any of the waiters? I know they say in Japan you do not tip because it’s not polite but looked like you tipped them? Idk lol
That Studio Ghibli music from the musician 🤩🤩 What a cool experience!
I was looking for this comment! 😂

Endlessly fascinating ! You have to be fearless to loose yourself in Tokio this way and just go with the flow !

Shinjuku / Roppongi have the best izakaya’s and bars 🇯🇵🤍🏮~ everything looks so good ✨
Oboe is a very hard instrument, he's an incredible musician to be playing it that well after only five years! I would have gladly bought him a drink!
