Love it! I only got to see an owl once while I was living out there. We did a night rally cross out at Coral Crater and when I was leaving during blue hour an owl came cruising overhead. I'm just assuming it was a barn owl, but still, super great. But man... that SEPARATION that you can get with the f4 is amazing. Nice!
Ahh i love that story! I go big island so often i kinda have my eyes open to see them so they fly over a good amount! And yeah the f4 really does add a bunch of DOF, its crazy

Great content! I have had the best luck with short ear owls by hanging for hours where they are hunting. They are very active when hungry as they have a low success rate when hunting. Happy shooting!
