Fantastic YM2612-style remix/cover of the Mission 3 (NA/EU version)/Mission 5 (JP version) BGM from this game here. I seriously hope you have plans on making a YM2612-style remix/cover of the Mission 4 (NA/EU version)/Mission 7 (JP version) BGM ASAP, as that's my most favorite track in the game. In any case, keep up the good work!
Good work as usual Remegade & nice to see a new Super Double Dragon remix,I think there's only a few more tracks left to do? Also I hope the Nes og trilogy get snes remixes?
I second the motion for this to happen, or, at least, some 2A03-style remixes/covers of _Super Double Dragon_ or either versions of _The Combatribes_ OSTs using the soundfonts from the NES versions of the original _Double Dragon_ trilogy.
While neither Sega nor Arc System Works are likely to make an official crossover with these two franchises happen (although they could if they really wanted to, since Sega and ASW have had a business relationship with each other for about 25 years), Bouncer Games and/or countless modders out can make it happen with their next _Streets of Rage Remake_ revision or spin-off.
Kinda wish you kept the choir esque noise for the background leimotif like the original, it's what makes the snes so unique in that it almost feels like a church version of the theme, that said this sound fonts are great too, kinda reminds me of Devil's Crash /Dragon's Fury ost on the genesis / MD.
This isn't Mission 3 from SDD that's Chinatown and this is Mission 5: Slums my bro. You know I love your 🎶 R-Gade. Still bopping it in the car and while I'm working. ❤
I think the Japanese version of the game (which this footage is from) has the songs in a different order to the US version of the game.. mission 5 theme in US is actually the last level in the JP version.. which kinda fits as is it the title/main theme of the o.g. game
@@TheLegendofRenegade I'm just gonna give you some info if you read it cool, but I'll leave it at that. Firstly, You are right with your title as SDD Mission 3 (US) does in fact play this. The video did throw me off so I do apologize for my error. Secondly, you are also correct about the SDD Mission 5 (US) theme. I have both soundtracks so I should've known. I've been playing Super Double Dragon (US) since I was a young Ology up to this day, and when I finally got a chance to play Return Of The Double Dragon (JP) after hearing all the differences compared to the US version I never went back. Lastly, You probably don't remember this but I've only come out of the shadows to comment one other time in all the years I've been with you since you've been on the Tube. I made a mistake and I don't wanna argue with you, my bro.
Another excellent job.
This is exactly how it should sound on the Genesis.
Instrumentation choice is pretty peak
Instant rizz
Melhor que a versão do proprio Mega Drive
guys will hear this and just think "hell yeah"
¡El bass de esta cochinada, está potentes, mano!
雙截龍的經典BGM,近幾年的後續作品好像都會放進這個BGM,不過我最熟悉的還是8BIT版本,不知道為什麼就是很喜歡這首😃。
That guy in the intro of the video before you press play strongly resembles Sagat from Street Fighter before he had the eyepatch. 😮

Indeed.
if Double Dragon crossed over to Streets of Rage.

I wanted to incorporate the PSG so there weren't too many FM instruments going on at once.. it was a sacrifice sadly that had to be made somewhere
