10:47 the tractor is actually an homage to the player "GentleTractor", who came up with a concept for a redesigned Zeah after its initial release into the game was poorly received. Part of the subsequent redesigns to Zeah take elements from his concept.
At 7:07 when you drink the Shrink Potion in Barbarian Assault it stalls the instance if you're the party leader. This allows you to fire unlimited eggs using the egg launcher. Skillcape emotes do the same thing, however you cannot use a skillcape during the queen phase therefore Shrink-me-Quick's animation stall is used instead.
To add this, the potion used to work like that everywhere in the game but was nerfed because the stall broke some boss mechanics. It was left to work in ba because ba community wanted so
Sort of. Shrink me quick is just a 4 tick stall now that's used to force end waves and and 1 egg the queen. If you shoot an egg it breaks the interface. Before it was nerfed you could spam click a prayer during the shrink animation to stack interfaces. Each time an egg was shot would break an interface. Skillcapes are used now because they patched interface stacking. During the shrink meta the only cape used was str/qpc for 45s w5.
Basically shrink was used for interface stacking red Eggs on cannon. That got patched so now you use different capes to animation stall. You can also cape the beginning of queen just not after you get hit. Range/banana cape when queen spawns and shrink for omega usually force ends the wave.
Commorb works the same as shrink mechanically but 1t faster.
I'd really be interested in the most obscure/least visited areas of the game. I know there's tons of content in the game nobody really uses (like how nobody knows what pest control looks like in rs3 because nobody plays it) and I'd love to see what you could find.
Ye, I like Any Austin’s series “Odd and Unremarkable Places.” He just goes to uninteresting places that we’ve all probably walked past tons of times, and captures the vibe by hanging around there and talking about it. It’s nice!

@@pillgrimm I dig that too. plenty of weird outdated mechanics hidden around Gielinor. Lotsa hidden stuff that’s 99% useless until you do a really restricted account like what Settled does. Then suddenly a near-useless obscurity becomes an account-saving tactic hahaha
Pest control does get played sometimes on rs3 if you wanna know how it looks search rs3 vs osrs pest control
It was played at some point. Void was BIS for a lot of things a couple years into RS3. At some point jagex nerfed it to the ground, what a shame.

I remember all the years wondering what that Prifddinas area is and what it's going to be. And all the rumors that went around about it. Odd that the empty plot of land just sat there for so long without being used.

7:08 I remember in the rs2 era of the game the shrink-me-quick potion would do the animation anywhere outside of the quest area, If you spammed it quick enough you could animation stall for a good little bit even while running, but I do believe they patched that bit eventually.
I had kinda forgot you but as soon as you started talking, I was flooded with memories and it all came back at once.
Tbh ur videos have been out of the ordinary but great because of it too, personally I’d like to see a list of random interesting things u have found added to runescape in your year long hiatus from UA-cam. Would be interesting to see what little nuances they have added that u notice or have investigated.

I never noticed the detailing of that plugin's water. Unbelievable how they can do that with just a plugin, you wouldn't think they could change it to have visible terrain that doesn't actually exist.
at 10:50, the tractor is also a reference to GentleTractor who created a massive Zeah overhaul which led to the discussions of changing Zeah overall.
There's a knight on top of Kourend castle that very closely resembles Solaire of Astora from Dark Souls. He even has some dialogue that mentions he's from a glorious land "where the sun forever shines."
