4th of July day hike in 100* weather - alone on the trail, just how we like it

Yes it was hot. But we mostly had the trail to ourselves because it was insanely hot. (Technically we did see a couple cyclists on trail and there were plenty of people in the parking lot when we were leaving.)
Poinsett State Park - coquina trail (direction starting to the right of the park office), hi knot trail all the way to laurel trail, left on laurel, then left on hilltop, then right on coquina to come back on the left hand side of the office.
Really nice hike and the Spanish moss was beautiful.

Yet another nice looking trail I'm gonna hav'ta check out. Though I've taken to starting my hikes at dawn this time of the year so I can be done before it hits triple digits.

I love Poinsett but yes it's been insanely hot and humid!
