I own this car and it not meant to be a fast car. I also own a custom and tuned 4 series that is batshit crazy and very fast... breaking 4 seconds fast. this is for my soccer net and practice equipment. A trip to the market maybe, and to be great on fuel costs comparatively. I bought this because it is the nicest compact suv that i prefer. instead of driving a higher spec version, one should consider a sports car for sport performance and a utility vehicle for getting the dirty work done. I also own a half ton and three quarter ton truck, as well as a couple of bikes and atv's. I would not try to rate them to this either. Great video and objective perspective...thank you.
the special feature around 13:25 right, i have heard one of my father's friend ending up towing his A-class into service center due to some of this sort of immobilizer system. they come in handy, but once sensors faulty, i guess we'll need them to fix it tho. LOL. Just sharing my experience here. Great review bobby
You need to drive a higher spec version. In Australia we have X3 30i with M-Sport package which includes adaptive dampers and upgraded brakes amongst other features which improves handling in Sport / Sport + modes. Our version also has bigger wheels and better tyres than your test car too. And we get HUD as standard, with Pano sunroof and Harmon Kardon sound on the options list.
Yeah that's the thing, i know this car can be really good. But carmakers now place their car making capabilities as options. It's as if "this is our new average car, don't worry, Great, Greater and Greatest are available as options!"
FWIW I think the engine and gearbox combo in the X3 30i leave the GLC 250 petrol for dead. Changing drive modes in your test X3 should have changed throttle mapping and gearbox behaviour even without the adaptive dampers.
I noticed some X3 G01 have LED fog lights on the front bumper and some don't. I asked the BMW dealers why and i got different answers. One dealer said those with fog lights are CBU brought in during the launch. One said production post tax holidays will have fog lights. The best was this dealer in PJ. She said BMW Malaysia "mistakenly" ordered a batch with fog lights. So who is telling the truth?
Dear Bobby or Kon, is this X3 30i better compare to the Mazda CX5 2.2 diesel in terms of power &/or value for money since Kon has done a test drive on it ?!

Yupe it does. Sadly bmw's Sport Plus no longer half-off the ESC in these new ones
X3 , GLC , coming soon Q5 all without HUD, don't what wrong the manufacture taking out HUD, with HUD can provide more easy/safety to drive.

Hi this video only can watch in UA-cam 360p and 140p not even 480p so graphics is quite bluh...
Cos you watch too soon haha
I thought The guy sitting on the right is a doll.
is this the same as the 2018 one?? any difference??
The part about the throttle being detached and reattached, could it be due to the Auto Start Stop?
What’s the difference between the X3 and X5? Just a 50k difference
x5 is 615k ... unless u comparing with the older version
I'm just wandering whether the motor on the x3 will it cost more to replace when it malfunctions?
Someone is camera-shy!
pls review the m sport version
autonomous braking? blind spot?
hi bobby.. if i want to buy this car 2nd hand, is it worth?

@@BobbyAngmalaysia thanx
3:09 what is Kon doing? 😂
Fake Kon acceleration! XD
The suspension is hard this car.

No, 30i is the only variant in Malaysia
2:23 looked back twice at the porsche panamera huh heh
Looks like a Cayenne Turbo
Add RM15K can get a 530e.
My goodness that X3 seems so boring compared to the Volvo
Better wait VW touareg 3.
