- Robin is a MASSIVE Game Changer for players in Honkai Star Rail, but players may wonder, is Robin worth it without her signature 5-star Light Cone "Flowing Nightglow". There has been a lot of debate regarding how good or niche Robin is, and whether or not players should pull for Robin. She will be the first limited 5-star Physical Harmony Character coming into HSR v2.2 focusing advancing allies forward similar to Bronya, giving massive damage buffs to the team similar to Ruan Mei, and being able to deal a good amount of damage. Quick edit: for those asking for a specific ultimate rotation, she doesn’t seem to have a specific guaranteed ultimate rotation (due to RNG factors, what happens in a fight, sometimes you’ll get it a turn earlier, etc) and also your allies will definitely matter for being a battery for her ultimate and using some of the tips I mentioned for speeding up the ultimate. Hope the gameplay can help give an idea overall though, and help you know what light cones are good for her.
do you think she could do well as more dps focused HARMony with the new *4 lc? im thinking of tingyun buffing and ult robin

Follow up teams are so satisfying. Breaking the turn cycles is so much fun and seeing your team get twice or three times the number of attacks in for every enemy attack feels so powerful
DoT team is my favourite since Kafka got released, like it never fails to surprise me

@@lennonjohndancel9330 that’s why I have two accounts. On my main account I play what I really like and on my second account I play the comps I like less. Like the FuA comp. On my main I’m playing DoT and Acheron and on my second I’m playing FuA and Jingliu hypercarry. It’s fun 😄

@@lennonjohndancel9330 Monthly here and I still never have enough pulls. Not because I'm not saving, but rather I keep losing 50/50 and only got 5* each 78 - 82 pulls. Never early pulls. This also goes for LC banner. Also 4* each 8 - 10 and very rarely got multi, so lack of eidolons on 4* also lack of refund from 4* dupes.
@@nyx4074same here! I always buy the express supply pass but you still don't have enough jades. Like I had to skip topaz for Ruan mei, don't regret it but yea now the ipc fua team seems like the best for Robin,
Unfortunately robins looking like a skip for me, but that's how it goes, unless you're willing to drop hundreds of dollars monthly you can never get all the characters. Not to mention sig LCs on top of that.
Luck is a thing but I've yet to get two 5 stars in a ten pull, I did get sparkle at only 20 pity tho that's the luckiest I've been!

Her LC is good, and the Base ATK is the highest we've seen on a Harmony cone by a significant amount, so that's an important factor. But man, I just can't justify dumping jades on a LC for an already insane support at E0 who has other good options. But I'm also enjoy using most all the characters, so I hate to invest vertically too much.
Definitely been having fun lately with Ratio, Topaz, Aventurine, and Ruan Mei.
Part of me is so tempted to shoot for Robin but with Firefly on the way…..man Penacony is killing me lol
But the Battle isn’t over also provides 1 sp every 2 ults, which isn’t a lot but it’s nice to have especially Robin who won’t be generating SP on her Concerto state. It could make a huge difference like Topaz can skill and get her ult back faster or more SP for Ratio to use.
I have defiantly had fun with Acheron and just recently got adventurine, so I am really excited, I was going through all the quest like crazy to get him, and then built him to the point I only have 10 fuels left and no in game currency lol and since getting him, I have defiantly had an easier and fun time playing.

I've been using the DoT team since Kafka came out and I still do. I got extremely lucky on her initial banner so my DoT team is packing a punch. Then my second most favoruite one is FuA archetype so all this new support for it makes me very happy :D

I am very intrested in trying Robin with Yukong as a second support with Dr. Ratio or Jing Yuan as the main DPS
Definitely pulling for her and gonna try and get a copy of acherswan lightcone and see if I get an early 5 star on the lightcone banner because of my past pulling luck of getting the lightcone early around 10-20 pity. I also don’t have aventurine or topaz but I don’t really care about that, I’m pulling for the main fact I love her character and kit overall.

Topaz first, if u have extra jades, go for topaz LC. If u still have extra jades then go for robin LC.

I am gonna be pulling for Boundless choreo for my Acheron and then hopefully get enough starlight to get welts signature for my Silverwolf and can then Slide GNSW on my Kafka. Is S1 GNSW better than S5 Fermata
Don't forget about Quid pro Quo - a Gallagher can act 3 times in quick succession after she casts her Ultimate and nearly guarantee 40 or even 60 energy for her.
That sounds juicy!!! Idk what I should do. S2 quid pro quo Gallagher or huo huo with s5 shared feelings... what do you think?

I would say to pull her, try out bronya LC see how you like it and if it’s all good then E1 is very good for more team damage :]. I mainly recommend testing it once you pull her just to see if you are happy with the rate she gets her ultimate back alongside the allies you use!
The Bronya cone might actually give more energy than the signature overall since it has no ramp up and stays active during her very long ult duration, less damage but good energy and 5 star stats, can also technically S5 it from the shop and then it'll definitely get more energy. probably not worth actually doing though for like... over 100 pulls.
I have a question, moon. when you activate the robin’s ultimate does the energy regeneration reset? For example, after Every ult used, is it back to base 3% instead of keeping the 15%(at max stack.)
I ask bc the effects wording makes it seem like after it switches the attack buff, It might energy regeneration is reset.
Hi! At 1:13 after using Robin’s ultimate the energy regeneration rate gets reset. After Topaz attacks though you can see 1 stack, then when ratio attacks another stack, etc :]
I was able to get the stacks back pretty quick :)

I don't have follow up team (no topaz), I also can't pull her sig lightcone (no stellar jade), so it's not worth for me to even attempt to pull robin?

I'm planning to use Robin in a Ratioless FUA team with Clara, Topaz and Aventurine, so I'm still on fence about getting Robin. If she'll have 4turn ult rotation in this team, I'll skip, even if she's most adorable and I really love her, because not being able to utilize a beloved character properly is a pain. Ult buff + additional dmg is what makes Robin shine. Sadly I don't have enough jade to get her LC and I am not sure if I should get Robin. meshing Cogs is a joke as Robin really cares about her dmg stats (at least in a team like mine, where she's one of the dmg delaers herself), I don't have Bronya's KC and other options do nothing to recharge her ult.
Well and the worst part about cogs is it has low base attack. Robin really wants to have high base attack so she can give out that 1k+ attack bonus to the team.
Quid Pro Quo on Huo Huo would be really good. If it’s S5, it will regenerate a random ally’s energy by 16 at the start of the wearers turn if they are under 50%. You can manipulate this so only Robin gets the energy.

It really depends on your team’s setup and how well you can keep things going. If you have no issues with sustaining without shared feeling, and feel confident, QuidProQuo might be ok at S2. Just make sure you can tweak it so Robin always gets the energy when she’s below 50%. If that’s too tricky, the shared filling light cone is a better choice since it gives you extra healing and boosts outgoing healing. In the end, it really doesn’t matter as these were just suggestions for people to use. Hope this helps.
Impressive weapon banner. Unfortunately (fortunately) I already have this LC with Locha on S5. If I didn’t have it, then I would spin the banner 100% for the first time, and yes, then 75% of what I spin, because the hunting LC is one of the strongest, and the new nihility LC is very necessary, because the shortage (Sampo/Gui/Pela/SW, Kafka, Acheron equipped , and Welt is sad... (I don't even know who suits Herta shop LC)) As for Huhuo and healers in general, don't forget about LC "qpq" (or
3* "multiplication").
Gallagher due to frequent action, should be great. I will wait for the release of Robin and see how things will be with energy and whether it will be worth pumping it for her (or other fast, already pumped healers will be enough)
I have no warps left from Aventurine but have fairly high pity and guaranteed. Is Robin still worth it then if I won’t be able to get her LC? I don’t have Aventurine or Topaz’s LC but I have Topaz and Rato (obviously).
You can always use the F2P 4 star event lightcone that's releasing in 2.2 Phase 1 with Robin since it gives ATK in the desc. Even without her LC she'll still be good as long as you stack ATK on her
Really like Jingliu more since I almost spend a little more other than BPI and MP for her SC 😩 so Im more on hypercarry, seeing a DPS solo carry the team
DoT team with Black Swan and Kafka is my favorite so far.
Fortunately I have S5 Messing Cogs, but when I do pull Robin, I will have to share the light cone with my Ruan Mei until her signature lightcone comes back for a rerun.
You can also use the f2p Tomorrow Journey light cone (it’s coming in 2.2) on Robin! :] near the end of the video I’m using the DoT comp and Robin has that light cone equipped.
I’ll only pull for her LC if I get her early and I’m able to keep my total pulls above 200. Any pulls that go over 200 go towards getting her LC
Is her lightcone top tier for Tingyun too?
depending on the team you can guarantee a 3 turn ult with cogs
if you have the data please present it as energy calculations aren't that hard and I can even give you a calculator I made in excel
I really want to pull her lc, it is too stacked, but Im also considering Topaz lc, since I lost 50/50 for Aventurine, and without Ruan Mei Ratio is gonna need another debuff

Hi Michael! The additional energy regeneration rate is nice, but the additional buffs (while are pretty strong) only last for 1 turn after using an ultimate, this works very well with Robin, but for fast harmony characters that buff would likely go away fast. :( If for Sparkle, I recommend "But The Battle Isn't Over", it gives an additional dmg buff to your ally you advance, and more energy regen rate. Other nice light cones for Sparkle can be "Dance Dance Dance", "Planetary Rendezous" for buffing quantum allies, "Meshing Cogs" for more energy (assuming Sparkle gets hit haha), and so on! Hope this helps :)
You won't get stacks meaning no buffs from lc via ult or in terms of err, same case with bronya
Rm maybe can use for the err but idk bout the 3 turn ult with moto or 3 star lc s5 and the dmg% is for less time too so nah
Tingyun maybe but robin is just a 5 star tingyun+better bronya so I'd say just pull robin instead of her lc

If you're pulling use it on robin only (unless future synergies).
I'd rather pull on topaz/boothill lc (topaz cuz good increase to personal and fua buff and boothill since almost every hunt lc is mid on him)
I somehow have e0s1 kafka, e0s1 acheron and e2s1 black swan with just one express pass spent. Safe to say the triple mommy core is gonna stay and slay everyone for a loooong time

I am playing as Jingliu/Aventurine. Who should I add as my supports? (I am seeing I missed out on Sparkle but I just started) I feel like I need a way to regenerate skill points, as at the moment with the Severence and (Fox support lady 4 star) I am always having to basic attack with some of them so their skills never get used. I am just not doing enough dmg with just Jingliu at this stage in the game. (Never mind the content that requires 2 teams)
You must be doing something wrong (not in a condescending way). Because Aventurine and Tingyun (fox girl) are SP+. Tingyun only needs to skill 1 of every 3 turns and do basic attacks after. Same with Aventurine. You can skill once too and just let his Follow Up Attack (FUA) do the refreshing of his shield. He can do basic attacks every time unless the situation demands for his skill. Moreover, Jingliu doesn’t really use a lot of SP. So how are you losing SPs?
Bronya is Jingliu’s currently BiS support even over Sparkle. Do you have her?
@@kyon-kyon71 Hm. That would explain it - I would use aventurines and Yukongs skill every turn since I figured Aventurines shield would stack. (Both him and Jin are E1) I dont have her, I got 2 copies of her brother which isnt helping since I have aventurine. Only other 5* is the girl with the robot but she doesn't really add much to Jingliu/Aventurine. So want to figure out who else to add to this set up
@@rileyray96 My bad, I thought you were talking about Tingyun. I forgot Yukong is also a fox lady. Anyways, I suggest swapping Yukong out. Jingliu already gets sufficient crt from herself and Relics. Plus Yukong is so clunky before E6. And Yukong is usually better for Imaginary characters.
Asta or Tingyun would likely be better than Yukong as Yukong is currently the least performing Harmony unit.
Tingyun helps Jingliu’s burst so she can always go to her enhance state. While Asta helps in soeeding up Jingliu to get more stacks. Not the best but tolerable.
If you’re planning to get Robin, she works fine with Jingliu. You don’t even need to Ult with Robin as much because her skill buff is already great. It’s similar to Bronya. Jingliu needs dmg% buff more than atl and crt because she can already do them herself. Plus, Robin’s ult would allow Jingliu to either get more stacks or dish out more damage.
On the note of Aventurine, E1 Aventurine is SUPER sp+. He can refresh his shield with Ultimate that is on par with his skill. You don’t really need to use skill for Aventurine. His ult and FUA should be enough. You’ll only need to use skill on E1 Aventurine on emergencies.

When Robin ults she buffs her allies ATK by % of Robin's ATK. Is that buff affected by Cadenza's 48% ATK buff for the Wearer or not?

Ruan Mei is still better by a large amount. Robin is for the people who have/want a FUA team specifically.

@@Moonnverse makes sense, i think jing liu/blade/robin is a bit of a sleeper ppl arent thinking about. Blade and jingliu both getting extra turns means more blade follow ups which is literally where all his damage is. Then jingliu just has a big sword.

For F2P, pull her light cone isn't too important, so just pull Robin is enough, but if you want her to be stronger, that light cone would be a great choice 😎✨
