I have both of em. Similar but different. One thing I notice about Warhammer is that it would have been better if top zippers for tublar pockets were 2 way like side zips rather than one sided. I like Warhammer cause it has more sturdy frame. It feels like you can put anything on load bay and the pack is undestructable. I like Skycrane cause it has flexible aluminum bar frame. You can bend it, make it contoured to your back. I can get higher load lifer angle which is a good thing. One of the most comfortable packs I have ever put on. What I love about Eberlestock packs is that there are all kinds frame system you can try designed to carry heavy loads. I got to say this is truly men's backpack brand.
Man, you made my decision even harder lol. I think I'm going to go with warhammer, mostly because I can get a little brother and have more options on how much to carry. Building bags for my family and this would allow way more options than just one pack. Thanks a ton for sharing your experience with these.
This is exactly what I've been wondering about when I'm looking at these. Think I'll purchase the Skycrane first since it comes with the Little Brother and Multi-Lid. Then get the Warhammer and Super Spoke duffel down the road so I'll have both versatile systems. Amazing products Eberlestock. Keep it up.
But why did they take out the molle webbing it just makes the backpack weaker, plus dirt and other things can get stuck between the layers of the seamless webbing which is just… why? Wasnt this supposed to be designed by sf, Id like to know why they would remove useful molle webbing
I really wish you’d make an option for a 90 degree. I love my jackhammer but that 45 annoys me every time I use it. Even a straight one would be better.

Can I put a intex 90 degree frame in the warhammer?
The Medium almost fits, but it does not create a snug fit. Not advised, but you technically can.

has the sky crane been updated with a similar gusset system as the new warhammer?
It does not actually.
Can i fit the battleship or destroyer in the war hammer??
Nothing would stop you from doing so!
@@Eberlestock thanks! would be great if there was a video on it just to get in idea 💡 of how it would function before purchasing it
Can you buy the sky crane without the little brother? I already have it
You cannot unfortunately.
