I’m 19 and say “living the dream” as a joke for how this world is something else! Most the time when I say it i’m going through it
The American dream is having the capability of making any life that you want for yourself. It doesn’t mean a white picket fence with kids and a marriage.
I don’t speak to my brother either. I understand. It’s sad for my kids. I just tell them we chose not to be in each others lives and the importance to try. Your kids seem to have a good bond . Hopefully mine do as well.
Candi, I completely agree with that saying “Living the dream” just drives me nuts! At my old job, my boss( that I couldn’t stand) would say that to every call and whoever came in to visit. For 9 freaking years I had listened to this man who said this. It still grates my nerves when I hear it.

I’m glad you respect chases wishes to not be a focus of the vlogs anymore. He’s always never liked being on camera the past couple of years. A lot of family vloggers would not respect that if their son/daughter didn’t want to be in videos

I think the American dream is more of a measure of success. In the same way that success is different for everyone, the American dream is different for everyone too. For some, it could very well be the white picket fence, and for others, it could simply be owning their own home or being in their dream career field. I've always thought of it as a sort of "starting from the bottom and working your way to the top." It's not always about the destination, rather it's about the journey you take to get there. Just my take! (I hate when people say "living the dream" too lol).

My mom and her sister don't talk, and she doesn't like to talk about it, so I completely understand!

Karli refuses to talk to a restaurant employee on the phone but wants to move out?
I hate talking to ppl on the phone and moved out and I’m thriving. I’m sure if she needs to she can.
I have social anxiety so I hate talking on the phone but I am moved out and love it, they aren’t correlated lol.

This is actually a genuine fear. Like people being afraid of spiders. It can be crippling to people. Iam truly terrified to make phone calls but I've been moved out for nearly 7 years. They are no where near connected

My yorkie is the same way with one of my sons friends thats a girl. He loves everyone and she is the only one he was shaking and growling. It's so weird there is no reason at all for it lol

I’ve shared before that it’s not just a single thing that happened. We are just two very different people.
@@OurFamilyNestsame with me and my sister. It’s strange how two people from the same parents can be so different. When she visits, we have a great time, but I could go months without talking to her.
Far as siblings karli looks a lot like Blake & far as parents karli looks a lot like Ken!!!!! in my opinion!

The American dream is subjective. I commented before that I rushed all the important milestones and didn’t truly enjoy it in the moment because of fear of running out of time/falling behind at 24 I have my career, house, car and being a full adult I have what I thought I wanted and while I’m extremely grateful to be in the position I am in. The American dream is not at all what it seams to be.
I have noticed the lisp but it’s not bad.😊

Have karli pay like 500 a month in rent. You save the money she gives you each month and then give it back to her when she moves out . Like a little housewarming present. But mainly it helps her learn how to budget for house expenses etc.. that's what I did w my kids .

they stay upstairs if they can see/hear the dogs. If we are in bed or outside they come down, especially Cordelia - she sneaks down sometimes during the day to visit Ken's office in the basement because the dogs typically don't go down there.
I’m still watching Star Trek since October of 1987 I’m talking tos, tng, ds9 and voyager enterprise is trader discovery has to much language I’m also thinking the images are to sexual with Picard I’ve been watching I am baffled as to how I decided to get the second season of Picard I also been watching lower decks and Star Trek prodigy

Her car is paid off. We paid a portion and Karli paid the other half
