Another great video!
OMG! When I started spraying , the fumes about knocked me out!!! My eyes were burning!!!
Look up acetic acid Safety Data Sheet (SDS). Lupin systems has a good one, but I can't link the PDF. These are what we use in chem lab to make sure we are taking proper precautions and already know what to do if something goes wrong. Vinegar (acetic acid) can be especially irritating to the skin because it is high in histamine, the chemical that tells the body to produce an allergic reaction. No one regrets being cautious. Stay safe!
Yes I was trying very hard to make it clear that this stuff is toxic! Stand back! Wear goggles!
I used the exact same product he is showing
I use 75 % white vinegar !
Me, I’m a purist. 100% for me baby!
DAMN!
Bigger waste of money than 45% and bad for the soil microbiology and pH.
Where are you buying 100% vinegar that stuff is extremely toxic! Extremely dangerous to any soft tissue or mucous membranes!!
When you get vinegar from the store it's typically 5%. Once you get up into the double digits you're dealing with an industrial strength acid! Don't let the word vinegar put your guard down. Acid is acid! This stuff is dangerous
@@ASpinnerASpinnercheers to your comment. No need to go overboard with this stuff, wetting the leaves is all that's needed. I do want everybody to protect their soil biology. No need to poison the earth. That's why I leave the salt out! Many of these home recipes call for salt.
Waste of money and also bad for the soil microbiology and pH. Go out once a week and spend a few minutes to pull weeds FFS. Use a stirrup hoe when possible, which makes it faster and easier. You don't have to be thorough when you do it on a weekly schedule, just get 75% of them on ever session. Most weeds in you garden are not nearly as competitive for crops as the chicken little faux gardeners make you think they all are.
This is a great tip!! I will get started on my 1000ft driveway tomorrow.
@@TZLVredmistI got a good chuckle!
Nope. Not acidifying my soil. Glyphosate is much cheaper and safer than this stuff.
This video is entirely providing an alternative to glyphosate. Glyphosate and vinegar work in an entirely different ways. Vinegar isn't as effective at killing a persistent weed species.
And there is a lot of division around glyphosate's effect on soil biology and soil structure.
